"on thursday 16.09.2011" credo sia un errore Embarassed

il giusto dovrebbe essere "THURSDAY 15.09.2011"

For the guys having FPS problems with low specs computer:
    new texture package low resolution.
Create a backup of your HD package.

Will we use the high detailed Monza v1.0 track or the beta v1.1 of Monza (with less objects beside the track to save graphic performance) ?
I guess it's quite equal which one we use ?

I'll check the performance with low textures in v1.0, but I think I'll have to use v1.1beta, because of a massive framerate drop with my PC at the second chicane in v1.0 when online with some cars..
even with low texture quality I think. Last seasons race with v1.2c I got around 2 FPS there in this chicane with a full grid and I had no predictable control left, so Albert, etc. crashed into my rear.

Using Win7 where I can lower the texture qualy in the Radeon driver in a much more efficient way and gain some FPS is another possibility to increase performance, I'll see.

Radiator Springs Racing Research and Development department studied one more method to optimize textures, to improve the way the are loaded in memory.
This package is High Definition and it's an update of the previous version, so the 1.0 package is needed.

Please let us know if a Low Definition package is needed too, or this optimized HD version fix the problem.

Deadline for the allocation for this race is Wednesday at 21:00. Some manual work is needed to compile the Entry List for this race only, therefore, we kindly ask you to allocate as soon as possible.
Everyone not allocated before this time will go in the first available server.

    Thanks for your cooperation

As usual for the 1st race of the new series, groups will be based on the driver standing of the previous season.

New drivers will join the first available group, and will be prioritized based on the allocation time.

All groups, for this race only, will score points with the same points distribution (RSR_Points_A). So anyone will have his fair chance on the first event.
From the second race on, groups will score points with different points distribution (RSR_Points_A,RSR_Points_B...). Groups might change, every week based on the driver standings.

I still have problem of frame per second in the second chicane, when other car are around me...even with the new low resolution pack...I've tried to lower the resolution from 1980x1080 to 1024x768, but the problem doesn't disappear.

It is strange because in all the other tracks I run maximum resolution, and medim setting, without any single problem...I've the feeling that the problem is felt from a lot of drivers here...

Any idea how to improve the fps? My video card is an Invidia GT240 (do not ask me more, I'm not an expert !!!), maybe the problem is related to the core (pentium D 2.8Ghz - it is not a dual core)? I've 2GB of ram, that should be enough...

I'll find out how to manage this evenening race, maybe I'll start from the pit, we will see...
