    Vintage Nausea......... Empty Vintage Nausea.........

    Post by Glenn English Sat Sep 10, 2011 2:19 pm

    Hi All,

    What is the parameter which needs to be changed in order to limit the amount of body / head movement experienced by the driver of the vintage replica ? (I'm enjoying this new car much more than the old one, but the nausea remains...)
    I think I've made this adjustment before for some of the other cars, but I've forgotten how....... or am I just getting mixed up between nK and rF ??

    Please help - I don't want to get vomit in my pedal potentiometers !! blink

    Thanks,

    Glenn.

    hello.. to turn off head movement you can edit the file in "cfg/headmov.ini" just like this:

    [MULTIPLY]
    MX=0.0
    MY=0.0
    MZ=0

    I prefer no head movement myself Wink

    As you can see you can selectively set the values for the X (lateral), Y (vertical), Z (longitudinal) axis separately. So, for example, you can set only X=0 'a la iR' .

    I am not sure I understand your second point, but I wonder if you are aware of the "SIMPLE GEAR" setting in the setup.. you can set it to off and that will give you the old "lift or clutch is required to change gear"
