    Can't host a server. Empty Can't host a server.

Post by Maarten Steverink Fri Oct 28, 2011 2:37 pm

    Hey guys!

I'm going crazy over here. I'm trying to host a server for me and my brother. Not a dedicated server, i want to race on the same pc as the host. Everytime i host the server, i can join it myself, but my brother can't see it in the server list. We both opened port 9500 on the firewall.
If he is hosting, i can't see the server either! We can both join other servers...

    Any ideas?

is the UDP port open on the router too?
you should do port forwarding of the 9500 towards the local IP Address of the pc is hosting the nkserver.

    weird. that should be enough.
    -firewall open
-port redirected to the right internal address.

I know that with nkservertool you can even connect to server in your lan directly. I haven't ever done it, bu you can maybe give it a try.

Otherwise, just tell me which car/track you want and I can set it up for you on our server
