    replay Mugello

good event. [Except the heat in this days.. -It's not the heat/not the temperature itself that bothers me, it's much more the high air humidity nowadays at hot days (sometimes I think the earth is getting more and more tropical everywhere..) that makes the air feel so unfresh. Or maybe there is also less O² in the air than it was still the case 10-20 years ago Wink, which makes you think no fresh air is around anywhere nowadays -in regards of the taste only- (not because of the need to already breathe more).]

' Only a bit disappointed that I overshot/missed my 'pit-table' at the pitstop in 2nd race for maybe half a meter. I had to go in reverse gear and so on to match my pit again & to be able to activate the setup tabs & refill + put new tires on. Took quite much time, too much when drivers are close thogether on track.
Matt and Mario and probably someone else could overtake me "in" the pits, because of my screwed up pit stop. I fell back from pos. 6 to 8 or 9 at first just after that bad pitstop.
But regarding the end-result (pos.7) of race 2 I 'only' lost two positions because of that (or at least one pos.), I think.

Quali was ok (quickest time at the first attempt), but there were 2-3 laps, as I was some tenth ahead in 1st sector - just lost it unnecessarily due to overpacing at a single corner in each of that laps (understeered at gas/the inteded push and went off the track).

    --

Nice to have such a nice result in the champ. standing (3rd). At the start of the champ, my intention was to get a good result at the end and it worked out quite well.. -except that u-turn at 3rd lap of 2nd race with F1800 at Aosta.
With some more aliens participating at each event like Maarten, I wouldn't have been on the champ. podium at 3rd pos. for sure (as long as they stayed off mistakes).

The only thing that made me a bit quicker compared to previous championships were (at least for me) better working camber values like "Camber RF 0.3 LF 0.3 RR 0.3 LR 0.3".
Such positive tire camber around or exactly +0.3 real camber made all of the cars that were used at this champ. more quick to drive in corners:
Corners inner tires have more grip this way in the corners and so I needed less track-width / less road at each corner than in my previous championships, when still I used s.th. like -1.000 / -0.100 every time & never had an eye on the real camber that is happening (which is listed below the susp.-screen: "Camber RF LF ...") either.
It was only difficult at the rear grip at some very few corners, especially at Mugello at corners in the 2nd sector. But here at Mugello I just lowered the rear ARB to 10 (instead of 60 before at Brno and Zandvoort) just for the races here, to be save with the rear at the races especially at the almost full speed uphill corner.

And I finally used normal FFB setting for the wheels response in the logitech profiler at this champ (overall FFB set at 80 %, the rest at 100% except the 'spring center effect' now having set to 0%).
Before this champ. I was used to 40 % overall FFB effect and 40 % spring center effect (using the spring center effect was the unnecessary and strange thing about that set up),
but now with turned off. spring center effect, I got/get much better reactions  / feel & feedback from the wheel and for the driving.

cu all on track with AC or another champ. (open wheel series 2013.2 maybe Wink) !

    Hi all.

Again a great moment on track with all of you guys Smile

The race 1 was amazing for me with at the end a really good result, 4 places win during the race with good battle.

Race 2 was not the same, a good part one and bad luck from the pit moment with a contact with Franky in the pit, I joined my emplacement when he leaved his one or he leaved his emplacement when I joined mine ; race incident for me, so sorry for bad luck Franky.

After that, at 10 laps to the end, I made few mistakes and lost to much places ::doh::

Anyway, it was really a good moment with good drivers, very high level and for sure good good fun.

Thanks to Andrea and RSR for the organisation, I am really sad about the end of this competition Crying or Very sad , what am I doing now Question

No more training, no more setup the car, no more Nkpro challenge ......

I hope we will have not to wait to much longer for AC and soon meet again for fichting on track drive

Congrats to Gek about his championship victory ::smilep::  - ::hola:: , you're  THE man 25 July 2013: Mugello 67322

Congrats to Lucas for this evening ::hola::

Cu soon on track I hope, and if you decide to organize another Nkpro open wheel series 13.2, count me in for sure ::wave::

Really good races for me, I've surprised myself with a pretty quick pace and I was on Lucas tail in the first race even though I didn't make much race fuel practice, finishing less than 2 seconds behind him in race 1, which is an achievement for me Very Happy

Race 2 I was again close to flying Orsetti and after the stop I was close too, but then I pushed too hard overheating the rear tires and schpun(Kimi's voice Laughing ). Lost 10 seconds, and Diablo did get close but I managed to hold on to my 2nd place finish in race 2 as well.

Hoping AC comes out soon, and perhaps see you racing with that sim.

Thanks all for great company and race organisation. I had a great time bounce

Congrats Fulvio on the CP! cheers

And Luca for yesterdays double win! ::thumpsup::

    Cya all soon!

We don't have any event with netKar PRO planned at the moment. We are all really busy with AC, adding new functionality to our RSR Live Timing (that will become our main website to support also our championships and events) and other internal projects (tracks/cars for AC).
