luckily for me it is still under warranty
lol!

Logitech Customer Service, writes to me:

"The procedure for applying for warranty replacement has been initiated.
His case will be evaluated by the Department of Warranty. If your application is accepted you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking number of the UPS. Should the application be rejected or require further information we will contact you again."

You might have been ok even if it wasn't under warranty. Logitech replaced my G25 with a brand new G27 when the brake started sticking, and that was out of warranty Very Happy
