NOTE: The official race will be with the BETA3.

After the official race we will have a test race with the v1.1.

    4. Luigi Robinia 247

I just noticed on the allocation that our current championship leader, Stephane, will not race tonight. Such a pity! What happen Stephane? Problems with the track? Even with the beta3? I remember you didn't have any problem before.

I haven’t problem in Mugello with beta 3 and I applaud 14 Apr 2010: Mugello - Page 3 Icon_cheers all guys who were working on it. This track is by far the most beautiful of all the tracks I've ever seen.

I spent all my time trying to run this 1.1 final and I has not time to make some qualifying laps.

Careful with the pit limits. Check the pit entry and exit before the race.
As usual if you will exceed the pit speed limits you will have to do a drive through.

    IMPORTANT
Apparently yesterday we faced some bugs, unfortunately. One of the members of the VT wrote that the race might not be considered valid.
In this case we will repeat the event.
In the VT we are now analyzing what happened.
If you found any bug, please write here in our forum. This will help us a lot.

We will let you know about it as soon as possible.

yes the finish line in the pits is the speed limit line and the finish line on the track is the actual finishing line

    About the race

After months of work, having a championship race at Mugello is the most rewarding experience ever. Great to see all those cars dueling on the track you have contributing to build.

Starting from the qualify, I've been really amazed by my improvement: 1.50.430 in PQ and 1.49.004 in the qualification yesterday with a clean, regular lap (thanks a lot for the great setup, Laurent!!!::hail:: ).

The first part of the race was spectacular. Nice fights, really respectful drivers, and great competitiveness. Big groups of drivers fighting corner after corner. A lot of overtakes. Nice nice race, really. I really love this track.
It's a pity I lost concentration very soon and I start doing stupid mistakes that let me down.

A curiosity: at mid race my girlfriend came back home (she went out with friends). She slipped in my room without switching any lights on, and suddenly she appeared close to my face to give me a kiss. I jumped half a meter! I almost had a heart attack! affraid
I was so concentrated on the race, with my headset and high volume that I haven't heard her at all!
Race over for me! Thanks god I was not battling for a good place!
    lol!

So we have 2 finish lines! Can you please tell me how did you discovered this? What happened?

If I understood your words correctly, as soon as you enter (or exit from???) the pit your time will be stored.

In case it's the pit entry speed limit line than this will be an advantage and will interfere with the qualification results.

The race is under investigation, so for now no points are assigned for this race (training points system)

I just noticed, uploading the results that the server was, by mistake, a v1.1 server, even if we all raced with the beta3.
There two server versions are compatible, and I don't think that there differences between the two versions, at server side.
I doubt that this can, anyhow have created problems on the race.
Anyway we will perform some tests to understand if any of the problems we faced could be related to this stupid configuration mistake.
    My apologies for that.

I think it will still be with beta3, unless people that currently have problems with 1.1, will find a way to fix them.

I know that Kunos is looking into the problem.

Anyway the VT will decide on this point as well.

Hi , yes i had my best time because of the bug, you might have guessed that my time was too fast.
I did not realise that there was a bug with the timing until I set that lap time.
I hope if we have this race again that it will be on Beta 3, I have BIG problems with v1.1, but only on mugello.
It was a fun race, but i made alot of mistakes 14 Apr 2010: Mugello - Page 3 Icon_redface .It was good to be part of the championship, I finished all the races that I started, so I am happy. 14 Apr 2010: Mugello - Page 3 Icon_biggrin
