you should have known to upgrade the PSU going to such a power hungry card Wink what on earth made you spend all that money on a 900w? 600w will suffice perfectly Smile

With NKPro v1.3 the Mugello track seems undriveable for me, becauee the car is bouncing up and down on the bumps 200% more then it was the case before in v1.2 and once it bounces this effect gets heavier and heavier until the car 'flies' off completely.. . Did anyone else noticed this strange (wrong) behaviour too with he KS2 ? The physics seem to have changed a little bit.. .

yeah i noticed it too. the car is very much more responsive to bumps and kurbs. nobody really knows how to "cure" this problem with setup changes yet, but i think its impossible to fix in such a short time. i too have only had 1/2 days to throw a setup together and having the same problems

hehe, throwing together a setup in 1 day for a 40 lap race on one of the most difficult circuits will be quite fascinating Very Happy

so a tested a little today... teach the track but dont know how to set a car.. so at the end when i finally learned a track (not good but enough) i set only 1.28.2.. it`s 3.5 sec from the fastest time...(

dont worry about that. mugello is probably one of the 3 hardest tracks to set the car up on. other tracks are much easier and this is just a warm-up race to test the new netcode and some other updates. just concentrate on getting a feel for the game and learn how the car reacts. obviously its very difficult at first but even moreso on mugello - dont get frustrated if you dont do well here, try and finish the race Wink

im in the same position as you really. ive made a setup in 1 day and i know its going to be horrible so im gonna test the new tyre physics and stuff Smile

i need some help with that... what tyre temp is optimal for KC2? dont now how to see the tyre wear.. brakes and engine temp and wear (there no radiators for them, no rev limits. no brake disc thick)how and when i need to change tyres in race (for ex. in mugello race)? refuel?

well, 1:28.2 is not bad.., this is my PB on this track so far Wink, so a 1:28.2 is not too bad especially if this are just your first laps in NKPro !
Don't mind about "the aliens" they are always 2-3 seconds ahead.. Wink.

I noticed that the car sways (the previous mentioned bouncing) even too when the car goes sidewards on places where are even no bumps, this strange behaviour was not the case with v1.2.
Maybe it is because of the new tire physics in v1.3, which seem to produce more grip in some way (and as a conclusion makes the car bounce more then in v1.2 in those situations).

The car is much more easier to handle / drive through fast corners then with v1.2.., but this bouncing effect destroys it all sometimes (this bouncing makes no fun and is very unrealistic, I've never seen a car in real bouncing this way up and down in the air with no wheel contact to the surface anmore when this happens..).

well, the optimum temperature for slick tyres is between 80-100c. i havent found an easy or quick way to fix temps here (due to the time ive had to test) so im just going to use it as a test session to see how long it takes for the tyres to start fading. obviously when they are hotter (110c here) it takes less time for that to happen. as i said before, mugello is one of the most difficult tracks to set the car up on - youll be much more settled on other tracks. you cant actually see the tyre wear but you can see the temps. if youre running above 100/105c then dependant on the track, it should be about 25/30mins before they start wearing. brakes, engine temp and wear arent yet implemented into the game so just concentrate on tyres Wink

i guess the easiest thing to do for your 1st race is just to pit for new fuel and tyres half way through. fill your tank to 75l and pit once its empty Smile

as with the bouncing and grip - yes, v1.3 offers more grip but it seems difficult to drive that much faster than v1.2. ive only managed 0.5s or so quicker than 1.2, so i guess with the new physics it evens it out. i dont really have a problem with bounce (apart from t1 and t3) so it must be your setup. barcelona does have a very bumpy section in the last chicane - there is no other thing to do than go a bit slower round that section. i guess its possible to solve these bump issues but more time is needed - we'll find out when the official event happens Wink

my PB so far is 1.24.2 with only 2 changes to the suspension. it gets very bouncy through t1 but heres a tip - if you look on the road surface, you can see a brighter part down the inside. if you drive just to the left of that, the track is far less bumpy Wink

i may have not read it, but i have a couple of questions :

1- is there a limited number of racers ? (25 first of quali and only)

2- if not, is the 107% rule applied ?

3- concerning the fuel,do i have to do the math while training to know how much fuel per lap ?

    4- is there 1 pit mandatory ?

sorry i didn't see an answer to these questions.

    1) no
    2) no
    3) during qualification you can check your fuel consumption. nK will give you the predicted laps.
    4) no. pit strategy is up to you
