    Second official race of the KS2 Series: Sepang

    Here is the schedule:
    21:00 (GTM+1) Briefing in our Chat
    Qualification: 20 minutes. No restriction on the amount of laps
    Warmup: 5 min (waiting time before the race session)
    Race 1: 37 laps (25 in case of rain)

    Full Mode will be used.

    as i understand the tyres dont working right??? cause u always use 18. psi.... it means that tyre model bad??

    which kind of problem do you have, Oleg?

    if you push more pressure on the air you will see that the middle of the tyre gets hotter. On the contrary if you put less pressure it gets colder.

    The difficult part on reading the tyres temperatures in nk is that since the only way to read them is on the box, it is sometimes not easy to do a reproducible test. Temps are always fluctuating, so if your last corner was, for example a left turn, you will see that your right tyres are hotter.

    Oleg it doesnt mean that if u have every time 18 psi that u have 80 C.The tyre has some limits if u exceed these limits UP or DOWN then u will not have grip and no good temperatures.
    Thats why u have to make laps to see in which psi the tyre works!

    (Andrea if u put more psi then u make it cold and if u lower it u make it hot.I mean for example u have 70 in the middle then u lower the psi to make it as much closer to 80.)

    i mean that u use always 18 psi for every track - this cant be right... the psi depends on tyre load, camber, susp, and track, track corners, and oher.. it cant be always be 18 psi... Andrey i know is psi for...i try do max psi - and even that dont do middle higher then inner or out. as well as lowest 18 psi dont do middle lower than I and O...u use 18 psi to make the best grip but the best grip should be when tyres have correct psi.. i think use 18 psi (or so) on every track is bag... cause why they make 18-30 psi.. they should do 18-19 if this will be correct

    Ciao, ho notato che sulla classifica piloti non viene rilevata la mia nazionalità, ho provato a controllare sul profilo GPCOS ma è tutto a posto.
    Quando entro in un server io vicino al mio nome vedo la bandiera italiana, non so perchè voi non la vedete.

    il meteo dice condizioni di temporali per questa settimana e le previsioni non migliorano per la prossima pensate di mettere un server con la pioggia?
    se la gara si svolgesse con pioggia con quale intensità gireremo?( 60 o 100%)
    la gara con la pioggia mi proccupa molto perchè il setup della macchina con queste condizioni è molto difficile e la guida e molto precaria.
    penso che un server bagnato ci possa aiutare ad avere confidenza con la macchina e con gli altri piloti. girare insieme per non avere problemi in pista

    i think this might be quite a misleading explanation mate.

    pumping more psi into the tyre allows it to run cooler and decreases the chance of it overheating. however more psi = slightly less grip because it has less contact surface to the ground. running with a lower psi has the opposite affect = higher temps and more grip. this is why people run with 18/19 psi for qualifcation runs. they do a slow outlap (in order to keep the tyre cool enough) and do 1 flying lap. this allows them to have maximum grip for the fastest laptime. in a race you have to run higher psi in order to keep the tyres cool enough, people generally run around 21-24psi, dependant on the track and other car settings.

    lets not forget camber plays a bit part in this too. if you have a lot of negative camber with a lot of psi, the inside of the tyre is the only contact patch between the car and ground, meaning youll have massive overheating on the inside of the tyre. you need to balance the psi and camber in order to get a good compromise. ARB, springs and downforce are the other 3 major factors (as well as driver!) which determine how your car handles its tyres.

    There is a bug in sepang rank time...1.36.3 from mine and Dugan cames from a bug, as we did them coming out from the pit....
    I was doing a pit stop practice, then I push a lot in the outing lap...It would be better to fix it before the race to avoid possible grid mistake...
    I asked to remove my lap time from wageen rank site, and to put again my personal best of 1.37.4

    When will the Entry list updated? Some guys are on a different server on the entry list, as they are normely when you look at driver standings.

    I ask only cause it could be very difficult for the new ones to see where they are driving.

    quick question - ive been watching the live weather in sepang closely and it looks like the whole week has been heavy storms. if this is the case for the race, will we use 50% or 100% weather?

    I would say 50% is enough to create troubles, but if you want we can get closer to reality with an 100%. Up to you.

    i think it would be best to wait until the new 1.3c update before doing that. 50% is plenty and seemed enough of a challenge for the bahrain test. any more and youll have cars all over the place i think.
