Guys, I've been trying to read/view all the track design and conversion tutorials/videos on the site, but its kinda difficult to locate some of them.
Tutorial thread? 5457 Any chance we could get them all into a single thread? or is this a bad idea? Tutorial thread? 756700

    Cheers

I will endevour to organise the tutorials/videos in order, hopefully this should make it easier for people to access the info their looking for.

Cool. And If you feel it's needed to rewrite/rearrange/modify something, feel free to do it.
We wrote those guides but we never had the time to do review them.

Thanks once more for your help, Andrew

Hi Andrea, theres more to this than I thought Tutorial thread? 29413 hehehe, but its cool I'm slowly getting there eh!,
just gonna take me a little longer than I first thought Tutorial thread? 274234 . and I forgot it was Easter too, Happy Easter to ALL btw Tutorial thread? 57262

Ive been doing a draft in Office07 with the intention of doing a copy and paste into a thread once Im done, will this work mate?

I decided to set the listing up alphabeticlly by author within categories, see below example

    Track Design/Building
    Author: Name
    URL tutorial 01 link
    URL tutorial 02 link
    Author: Name
    URL tutorial 01 link
    Track Conversion
    etc
    3DSMax
    etc

What do you think, this gonna do the job?
Keeping it simple seemed best, and I felt people would tend to steer towards one tutorial once they got started and where comfortable with it, which was the reason for going by author too. Smile

I'll keep ya posted on my progress, have a safe happy easter, dont eat to much chocky No

Any approach is fine, and of course the "keep it simple" approach is always the one that will give better results pirat

Thanks a lot for your help, Andrew. I put as a sticky message in the track dev forum.
Do you think should be there or in the nk forum?

I agree with you, it needs to have a better layout. I will try to do something later on.

Thanks Andrea, just wish I was better at that kind of stuff
Being able to read and understand Italian would of been handy too I would of written more details, but I'm sure you can sort that out.

If I can help in anyway let me know Wink

    Cheers

Edit; Track Dev sounds like best place for it, but really up to you mate Wink, why not both?

Just a couple of things could maybe tidy it up a bit Smile Remove anything that doesn't really need to be there, for example the Authors names (we can see who posted the tutorial), and it would be better if the titles were clickable. So if you moved "Track Creation Requirements and Naming Conventions." to after the first set of brackets it would look a lot neater Wink
