CreateDevice failed

Friends,
I friend of mine has just downloaded NetKar Pro - no license purchased so far.
But the sim will not take off: "CreateDevice failed".
Anybody knows why - and how to get airborn:?:

Hello, i have exactly the same problem with Lars Scheving but i dont understand how to solve it, could you give me some help? This game is said to be the best and i want to try it!

I have tried many different settings from the game and from nVidia Control panel, i have installed all the windows updates and the latest drivers from nVidia, i have uninstalled and re-installed it many times!

Fourth:
can you please copy and paste here your log?

try to install all the exe that are in {nk folder}\runtime

The NetFx20SP2_x86 gives me an error! Does it has to do with offline test too?

Error too! pffff! Some Greeks told me that this game has problem with Greek Windows. Is it true? Won't be able to play this game while having greek windows?

Not heard of a problem with Greek characters, I think a Russian guy had some issues though. If your having .net issues maybe try this guide. A word of warning, read this post first (I dunno if there's any truth in that as I've never needed to use the method myself).

Try to install these files: DirectX (extract it then launch DXSETUP file), reboot your PC and install this file too.
Reboot your pc and start nKP again.
