Tracks

The tracks have been reproduced in order to guarantee not only a fine
degree of technical training, but also to allow drivers to exploit any
type of car to its maximum performance, be that in testing, or online.
3D objects, surfaces and layout have been generated to re-create a truly
immersive environment for racing. The Laserscan Technology guarantees
the highest degree of fidelity respect the real counterparts.



Vehicles

The vehicles have been modelled using accurate telemetry data and
engineering consultancy from their real-world counterparts. Their
behaviour has been tested by professional racing drivers and race
engineers to guarantee ultimate realism. The physics engine manages a
considerable amount of data, such as tyre temperature, chassis torque,
weight distribution, suspension geometry, wheelbase, track, braking
system characteristics and so on, in order to generate one of the most
appreciated precision experienced in a simulator.



Tyres

Assetto Corsa’s engine features dynamic tyre surfaces which change
not only in behaviour but also in visual appearance as more and more
track miles are added to their carcasses, when dirt build up occurs on
the tyre. With the tyre’s visible appearance changing to reflect these
changes, not only will the driver feel the differences but also will be
able to see it, giving a whole new dimension to tyre management in
simulated motorsports.

but yeah, your impressions of a bit too much understeer if you miss the braking point is correct.

That's why we are working on a brand new sim engine
