Being a circuit a bit particular, I think we need some clarification about the corners cuts. Some have the cones, other do not have a real curb inside but a concrete part. On the server I saw that many go "through" the cones, which I do not think you could do ... What do you think?

Quick answer. Cones must not be touched. You can go on the concrete. I'll provide some pictures to clarify it as soon as I can.

Here are the corners I though can be a bit unclear:

Here you can cut on the concrete. The white line is a bit faded, so it's not that simple to see the limit from the cockpit. For this reason we decided to allow to cut on the concrete. Just don't touch the cones or the grass.
    18 October 2012: Aosta Aosta1

On the last chicane, you can go on the concrete on the entry, without touching the cone
    18 October 2012: Aosta Aosta2

and you should not hit the cone on the exit. We know it's easy to go slighly off track there if you do a small mistake. In any case we've noticed that you won't gain much there, since a cleaner line will pay off in terms of speed for the long straight. Our guideline is to try not to cut more than as it is shown in the picture, but we will not be extremely picky there. Just try to stick to the track and don't hit the cone.
    18 October 2012: Aosta Aosta3

As usual if, in the race you do a mistake and you gain advantage, you should lift off.

One more note for the harpin. Especially on the first lap we will be all close to each other when we will approach the harpin. People on the back should take it very easy there. The group will slow down a lot there and it's easy hit someone from the back. Be really careful there.

Here is the entry list for the event.
    Group A: positions from 1 to 15
    Group B: positions from 16 to 30

Remember that you need to be allocated to be part of the event, and you need to do some lap on our server. You check who is online and other drivers lap times on the Live Timing.

Please help us out placing your allocation for the race in time, so that we can organize the race properly, setting up the servers in advance and we will not lose time during the briefing.

If your name doesn't appear in the entry list, although you've done a lap and you are allocated, please contact me, not later than Thursday at 19:00.

Please also update your allocation to "Driver will not participate" if you are not able to race, otherwise you will leave empty places in your group.

    Thanks for your help.

Nice to see on our Live Timing that all drivers have pretty close times even on this track. The first 15 in less than a second. It's going to be a really nice race, hopefully!

See you on track tonight for some more training. I'll finally have some time tonight, and I hope I can gain some tents to secure my place for the official race in Group A.

Feeling a bit uncomfortable to ask some of the really fast guys, if they could upload a video of them driving around the track, first time i really have no idea where everyone takes half a second of my time in S1 Embarassed
My first sector feels very good to me, i thought my S2 was worse but there Im not bad at all.
Would be great if someone could help me. Smile

Obviustly was just a joke Wink
What i can say is that this is a quite particular track and i think that you can use different lines with not that much difference in laptimes.
For example i have noticed that, expecially in the first 3 or 4 corners, i use a different line from almost all the other drivers, but my S1 is quite similar to everyone.
Finally i think you should just use the one you feel better...
    you are already strong enough!!
See you on track tonight bounce

    replay group A

Overall it was a good event. Except an accident in race 2 with andrea in turn 4 -at the right<>left downhill passage-, he was off track there and touched the wall, which made his car uncontrolable. As I came (still also a bit batteling with the car in front of me) towards that corner I still thought that everything would fit without hitting his car, but his car was still moving a bit towards the track and as I arrived at the apex we touched, my front axis was broken, so I needed ESC back to pits for repair. -If I could drive that situation again, I would try to slow down to be able to drive more to the right side of the track, but at that moment as I saw the car first -he was then still driving normally 'far away' of the track off-track on the gravel until his car touched the wall-, I thought it was enough far away from the track to drive through that section normally. -edit: Now as I watched the replay, it was really bad luck I had (being on the wrong place on track at the wrong single moment..), because his car moved/turned 180° with its nose just exactly the moment when I arrived there, if it would not had tunred around its axis there, everything would have fitted. Bad luck for both of us.
Race 1 was ok/good, qualy bad -not the quickest rhythm- Wink. Generally everyone seemed to be surprisingly fast, all were driving quite similar times, I needed to do perfekt laps to keep up with them, that's not so easy all the time.

Worst event ever for me. I'm really sorry for putting you out of the race, Marco. I wreaked my car going off track against the barrier, and I bounced back. I tried to stop as soon as I could, but I haven't been fast enough. I'm really sorry for that.

I had 2 very bad races tonight with 2 stupid mistakes that ruin both of my races. Such a pity because I was quite competitive here. Better luck next time.

First Race was quite good for me, but the second race i broke my suspension in a crash at the hairpin so i had to pit and i lost many places.
10 seconds and ~17 laps to go, so i pushed a bit, tried to be faster then the guy in front of me and finally i got him Very Happy

Now my goal for the next two races is to defend the second place in the driver standing, what is really hard with f.gek only 19 points behind me Very Happy
