    Very good evening racing. Thanks to all who entered Smile

    My race 1 was pretty good, I had no decent setup but raced reasonably well. I raced carefully, hare and tortoise. Still managed to make a couple of mistakes, which put me in 5th.

    Second race was more eventful. Started in 2nd, got a start so good i thought somebody shoved a rocket up my arse, only to go flying off on T1. now in 6th, i raced on, and went off again on the horrible T5. series of bad moves, and i wound up finishing 7th.

    Not bad for a track i'm crap at. bring on race 3!

    After watching I have to criticise Lagenau a little bit, because of an unsafe release onto track, -after his car turned 360° at the end of lap 2 (race 1) he immediately made a donut instead of letting the cars behind pass.
    I did not expected this, just saw the car(s) standing there on the left side of the track.. but then he suddenly made a donut as I was just 5m away from him, which ended in a horrible crash.
    But those things can happen of course, next time please just wait a bit longer before moving on / letting the cars behind pass at first.

    Quaifying went ok, was 4th on the grid.

    Race 1, had a good battle with Andrea for 2nd, unfortuently the incident below gave the position to Andrea although I tried really hard to catch him again (finishing just 2 tenths behind).

    Mauro re-joined the track and I had to take avoiding action.

    Race 2, had contact with Foresta at turn 1, it looks like there was lag involved and this damaged my suspension. Then I had a stranger incident with Gilles Jnr. when he had a moment, and we made contact but his car went flying off and mine was fine (the replay shows my car briefly inside his :s). After then spinning due to my car pulling to one side, I thought it was going to be a lonely and difficult race, but as the tyres wore down the car felt more manageable (with regards to the pulling). To my surprise Andrea then pitted, and I was able to take 2nd, and spent the rest of the race with him behind on fresher rubber Razz I managed to hold him off & was pretty pleased Smile

    No. 1 I started last and came 5 th I saw several vehicles fired in the air

    No. 2 was second on the grid, on the second lap I closed Vastagh gincane after the first goal and
    I'm done.

    moral of the story better to start last.

    Per me è stata una buona gara.
    In qualifica riesco a ripetere il mio tempo "quasi PB" e mi qualifico secondo, alle spalle di Pagoto.
    Dietro di noi altri 4 piloti tutti sotto al 24, quindi una qualifica molto equilibrata.

    In gara 1 perdo una posizione al via, mi ritrovo terzo e cerco di seguire Pagoto e Raymond.
    Al 3° giro quando sono vicino a loro perdo il posteriore, faccio un 360° e rientro 5°.
    Riesco negli 8 giri rimasti a recuperare fino alla 3° posizione.

    In gara 2 parto 4° e al via recupero subito una posizione.
    Mi ritrovo dietro a Saltens che riesco a passare dopo un paio di giri. A quel punto davanti a me c'è Fulvio che ha un passo insostenibile per me e quindi decido di guardare che succede dietro.
    Dietro Raymond Vanore e Pagoto si stanno dando noia a vicenda e cosi posso tenere un ritmo "tranquillo" gestendo il vantaggio che aumenta giro dopo giro.
    Verso metà gara Fulvio commette un errore e mi consegna la prima posizione, che mantengo fino alla fine.

    Ci vediamo nella stupenda Mugello.

    Alla partenza devo dire che questa volta ho visto molta prudenza, molto bene.

    Per la Direzione di Gara: nel server D il mio compagno Marco Ranalli in gara 1 è stato tamponato al via, è sufficiente questo per farvi indagare a riguardo o va inserito un protest da qualche parte ?

    It was a good race for me.
    In qualification i did a time similar to my pb and i was 2nd on grid.
    Other people was very fast, we was 6 drivers in 0.6 sec !

    In race 1 at the start i losted one position and after 3 laps i losted my rear, i went out of track without damaging the car and i returned in race in 5th position.
    So i did recover two position and i finished the race on 3rd place.

    In race 2 at the start i did gain 1 position and after some laps i passed Saltens so i was 2nd rear of Fulvio that was too fast for my race pass.
    So i did manage my time looking rear the time of my opponents Raymond, Pagoto and Vanore that were disturbing because they were very close.
    After some laps Fulvio did a mistake and i was first and i managed the first position until the race end.

    affraid That was quite a scary moment! Mauro received a pit radio communication: "Fernando is faster than you" (to read with a strong Italian accent). Seeing a Ferrari behind him, he decided to take his revenge for what happen to Felipe Rolling Eyes .

    I will check the replay better, but I don't think that was on purpose. I'm glad we both managed to avoid him.

    Very nice battles, Marius. I think the race report say it all. We haven't been more than 1.2 seconds away in Race1 from the 2nd lap to the finish line! Same goes for Race 2 where you managed to keep me behind for 13 laps.
    I decided for a pit stop in race 2, but that was, in my case not a good strategy (it worked for other faster drivers).
    Anyway, this made our race much more interesting. Great fun.

    At the end of the first lap someone hit me on the rear on the chicane before long straight. I made many spins and was a little confused. But you are right M. Waechter, confused or not my recovery was unsafe, i'm sorry about that. After the race, without exiting netkar, i view the replay and show the hit and about 5-6 spins of my car ! But on my saved replay i only see a big jump a far away after beeing hit and then only one spin. There is something wrong with netkar Smile Then i can reach the stand without pressing esc and fix a little my car.

    Few notes about those report:
    1) for now it's in Italian only. We are working on a new version in English also. if you have doubts, try to use google translate Wink or ask here.
    2) it's still a work in progress, so there might be errors. if you will find any, please let us know.
    3) I generated report per group and aggregating all driver together.

    yes, this is exactly what I'm saying. Please check your case in detail, and help us identifying better rules to clean up our data.

    There might be errors also on that calculation, so please let us know.

    Well race report for me....

    1st Race: After the disaster on T1 it took me loss of three laps to scroll over the pits to repair. Pity because i wasn't prepared for such a thing but what can you do...that's racing 8) I finished 9th 3 laps back
    2nd Race: Beautiful race....from 9th place I manage to pass a lot of guys there and placed 2nd before my pit stop for tires and fuel. After pit stop I lost some places but it was ok because my pace was good. I tried to pass Melbourne for the 4th place but I lost control (trying not to hit him in brakes) so I lost more places.
    5th position for me was not so good but I don't care because the second race for me was awesome with a lot of fights and all clean fights.

    A very good races for me yesterday, in both i found very correct guys. When I was in 1st place trying to not make mistakes, fortunatly i did it. Now i am in the "serie A", too many aliens, will be fun, sure! Very Happy Forgive if there are mistakes i don't write in english often! 8)

    Grazie Andrea, fin troppo buono. Wink Ieri finalmente è stata una corretta e pulita serata, un server di gentlemen si potrebbe dire, sia in gara che in qualifica. Peccato per La Raspa, era 1 in gara 2 e ha avuto un incomprensione in un doppiaggio, avremmo avuto un bel duello in pista ne sono certo!

    In qualifica noto ben presto che ero abbastanza veloce da non dover rischiare troppo, faccio il mio solito 24 1. Devo dire che qualche giro dopo stavo facendo il mio PB, ma nelle ultime curve trovo due auto, di cui una nei campi, e mi sfuma così un -4 decimi, vabbè... Very Happy Parto bene e mantengo la posizione fino alla fine, cercando solo di non fare errori, dietro di me ho visto, dai tempi, che gli altri si stavano divertendo a duellare tra di loro, essere primi è bello, ma quando battagli con bravi piloti lo è ancora di più. Volente o nolente al mugello dovrò stare in pista con veri e propri alieni, avrò molto da sudare! affraid
    Gara 2
    Parto 6 e cerco di stare atttento nelle prime curve, sfilo senza troppe difficoltà varie auto fino alla 2 posizione, dietro La Raspa. Vado tranquillo, tanto la gara è lunga cercando solo di capire l'auto così pesante, ma purtroppo il 1 ha un incomprensione in un doppiaggio e così mi ritrovo 1 senza dover faticare molto, a questo punto devo solo restare concentrato e portare l'auto al traguardo. Un appunto: Andrea ti vedevo girare su ottimi tempi, mi son detto quà devo spingere, l'unico momento in cui mi son preoccupato un pò. Smile
    Bhè, ora verrà il bello, il gruppo A è tostissimo, già fare 5 sarà una bella conquista, proverò a fare quel che si può, queste ora che son nel gruppo A resteranno le uniche vittorie, meglio che me le goda un pò!     Hi all

    This is my story, i made errors and i have suggestions for the crew.

    stay in pit: no problem

    qualification: i started very slow to heat the tyres. after i tried to go faster, but after a while the pc freezes. No way to come back to box or to the pit CTRL+ALT+CANC and restart of the pc. check of cpu, memory, network connections OK, so re-join and exit from the box for qualifying. First turn "NO CONNECTION", so exit, check of network and reconnect. Exit from the box, half of a lap, another time "NO CONNECTION". Another re-log and finally it works. i try to exit from the box to do a clean lap to check the system, bad time, but it seems stable. In few laps, looking in the mirrors and no cars appears.
    Conclusion: yesterday it was snowing very hard and i felt some peak up and down of tension, probably the cause of this strange problem.

    1st race: very slow start, leaving all the cars pass in front of me. Driving with costant high times, looking at the red times on the left to understand how fast are the other drivers. I made some errors on some turns, loosing the grip, but nothing special. I noted some drivers back to me making ESC and coming back on track. Zoltan Vastag did it several times and i had a lot of toubles trying to pass him, due to zig-zag, the skin not loaded, very bad driving. I noted a strange thing: i was in 4th position for a long time (looking at the high bar) and i lost positions on the finish line WITHOUT TO BE PASSED from other drivers. I ask to the crew to look at the replay to understand this problem.
    Finally i was in trouble at the last chicane because the 1st and the 2nd reach me: trying to let them pass, probably i was an obstacle to them: my excuse for it. i finished 8th

    2nd race: very hard because it's very long
    Slow start, last position at the beginning. i tried to have costant laps times, making errors, but never hitting walls. Looking at the red times on the left, i was able to understand if a driver behind me was faster or slower. When this driver appeared in the mirrors, raise up the foot on the gas pedal, mantaining the line, in order to make the overtake easier.
    Driving in this way i was able to finish 4th: wonderful result!!!

    My suggestions to the crew:
    - look at the replay of the 1st race to check Vastag race and explain me the problem of loosing position without to be passed
    - create a .pdf with a summary of the rules of each phase, only one page, as easy as possible to be read during the race
    - perhaps you can remove the rule of "NO ESC key" during the qualify

    Thank you to the crew for this fantastic experience

    Sarebbero molto interessanti altri due report con le medie dei tempi di ciascun pilota in ciascuna delle due corse cosi' si possono confrontare i passi effettivamente tenuti in condizione di gara. Potete aggiungerli ?

    Una domanda forse stupida: è possibile inserire anche un report con le connessioni?
    Siccome non so come fare a vederle durante la gara, sarebbe bello sapere con che connessione si è corso.

    I had a great time at Barcelona .. on the pace again which I was worried I wasn't going to get to grips with this monster car, I was planning on blaming the tires :p but qualified P3 after a really close qualifying and finished Race 1 P4 despite what the result says I was behind Mario well actually beside but anyway his nose was in front ( a good roman nose :p) Race 2 I won because I didnt stop for tires or fuel and Mario did not. We had some great racing and its always a pleasure to race with you guys.
