1.3.0 Beta incoming

Actually, last time a new youtube video was put up i'm fairly sure 1.3c was 'coming shortly'. That was months ago.

Maybe i'm just pissed because netKar has SO much potential, and it is wasted at almost every turn by bad decisions made time and time again. When the KS2 came out, there were so many people racing and i actually thought "hey, netKar might have actually made it this time" but the stupid collision bug put the majority of people off. Now whenever i look at the server browser and theres an average of about 3 people online. Its frustrating to think of what we COULD have had, but lost because this patch has been delayed so damn long.

Its been made even more frustrating by that youtube video that showed near perfect collisions. why oh why couldnt that have been released as a sort of sub-patch? Just crazy.

It would be nice to see vallelunga join the official tracks.

There are plenty of side projects they worked on.

I would love to see a "real" GT car, like the Ferrari 458 GT2 or the Porsche 997 GT3 RSR!!

That's why I said vids & a new site Ultimately it's up to Kunos what he does, and its better to TRY & channel our frustration into something constructive, rather than just ranting Obviously 1.3 is a final chance (+ whatever updates for it there might be) for Kunos to get it right, & if he does I'm sure more people will return or join to race online.

Regarding side projects, what did he do for Evotek? I know the others are driving/racing simulators, but I was just wondering if he did anything interesting for them =)

Something about that doesnt look right. Actually, its the wheels that dont look right. Its like seeing a 15 year old nova thats been lowered and has a body kit on. Just. Doesn't. Look. Right.

Also, i KNEW someone would call me up on the age. If we're going to be like that, i think the Nova was a variant of the Corsa, which is still in production. So i can be forgiven for getting two hideously dull cars mixed up :p

Yeah like the Carlton, which was the Omega in (mainland) Europe, before it became the Omega everywhere

There's a server in the netkar multiplayer list which is called "vintreplica", so it looks like it's just another version of the vintage :-)

believe me, it's pretty different from the Vintage. It has similar body work but completely different handling and setting. it's just an amazing!!! A real beast, good for some nice road races. It's very nice to drive

Hehe i didn't say it wasn't great to drive! I have no idea until i've tried it! And that car looks amazing anyway :-D

I would be a bit more careful giving dates, since has not been announced by the staff.
