Just one point I hope about to come in some way:
Regarding the time around the final release of v1.0 there should be some kind of official multiplayer (carrer mode) championships ready like in Iracing or wherever else in what Sim might be such a model as well.
->In order to keep the Sim alive over a long time, because most people want to race in (championship-) races and not only do hotlapping.. and having just this site and maybe 2-3 more sites setting up a few championships will not be enough, it would end up like NKPro that way quite quickly with just around 30 active people playing it online in organized championships. You don't have to be a prophet to know that such will happen sooner or later, in case if nothing changes regarding this point.

So I hope they not only include championships & that planned carrer mode for driving offline against the AI, but set up a same thing/model for real online multiplayer races as well.. .

I'll install the steam software (8.1 MB) on my second OS Win7 partition, that's what I'll do next, already have a steam account from the past.
Then test the beta .

I read that you probably have to delete your previously generated "Assetto Corsa" folder in "my documents" (or just rename it / save it elsewhere) of the AC TP (Technic Preview) install, to get run the beta, otherwise the existing folder conflicts with the beta. Just as a hint, if problems occur at someone.
Or just simply deinstall AC TP and delete all AC TP folders, we won't really need the TP anymore , then there's nothing left to conflict with the new install of AC beta.

I deleted everything from the TP before installing AC, but my wheel (G25) is locked to 220° by the game, and it won't let me use the full 900°. :(I already set up my wheel in the Logitech profiler to use 900° in AssettoCorsa.exe and acs.exe.
Anyone else having this problem? Please.

uninstall ac preview and delete the folder structure in documents "assetto corse"

go in your steam / setting /account and see that you are able to play whit a partecipation on beta.

make a clean install and rename before the folder Ac of the preview like U whant or delay all.....
may for the /// but my wheel (G25) is locked to 220°//// what a car U use??... is a simple wizard in game to configure the wheels..
remember tor restart steam...the game need update may be..

Giancarlo, this happens on every car. The game limits my steering lock to 220° from the start, I can't change that, neither in the profiler (+global settings) nor ingame with the manual set-up or the wizward. :/

may in the document/ Ac/ conf/control. log/.or:lol!: ..ini??...I was change for my g25 the R..gear and works... on game don t reconize

I tried everything I can think of now, it seems the game won't recognize that my wheel can turn to 900°. :/

Provato fino a non molto tempo fa: INCREDIBILE! Siamo oltre la TP, questo è guidare a volte mi chiedevo perchè sotto la mia sedia non sentivo la strada! Scrivo in ita perchè è difficile rendere in lingua "non madre" l'emozione spicciola..! Sorry for the english reader.

Just a hint for anyone with FPS problems... Disable motion blur completely. Personally I couldn't really notice any difference... I get a stable 60FPS without, a jumpy 30FPS with.

Even on my old pc it runs great on medium graphics. Physics are great, looks are great, but i feel i like Netkar more still hehe! Waiting for more tracks, and when is Zandvoort coming? :DNot impressed with the 49 for now, but i'd have to test more.

First impression / try and:
                            - I have just to say.

Had no problems to run the game, no crashing and glady no performance dropdown like it was the case on that TP specific issue after a few laps.
Just assigned my wheel+pedals+buttons, not a single problem there, 900 degrees are recognized, set FFB gain for my G25 to 70-80%, then disabled HDR, set AA to 4x (4xAA, 4xAF) and set shadow resolution to low (similar settings I used at the TP) and went onto the track.
The FPS I get is sth. around 110 FPS I think, stable.

I need to downclock my current Zotac GTX 560ti from its factory OC 905 MHZ value to 860 MHZ + give it 1,050 V voltage instead 1,012 V, otherwise the card crashes after 2 Min. . But this is 100%/10000% not a problem of the engine of course, it's a common issue on those GTX 560tis / I need to do that on Iracing and every demanding 3D game or benchmark as well all the time before starting to play, to prevent my card from crashing.


This is definately the Sim with the best³ sound + soundeffects + all the 'millions' of tiny soundeffects to discover. I read/knew that they wanted to exchange and improve the whole soundengine and indeed their sound engineer did a world class job !!.., totally fascinated by sound (just listen to the surrounding backfire sound of the Ferrari 458 and else, all the detail sounds the car + engine makes, you can even hear exactly which -left or right- tires squeezes on the open cockpit cars) and of course the whole dynamics on the driving itself (ABS stutter, 'slopping'/'woobleling' of the tires & tire grip on that Abarth Formula car when its stiff body runs over some curb or bumb, ...).

Totally blown away by the immersion this sim offers, I know Assetto Corsa aimed for s.th. like that, but this light build already exeeded my expectations now.


I tired the TP Lotus, The newer BMW M3, BMW Z4, Ferrari 458, Abrath Formula, BMW M3 GT2 & Abarth 500 so far chronological @Magione and each car up to the GT2 was an improvement in experience you could say.
I mean, you feel the general sense of each different car directly & immediately (also the great sound (each car has also its own horn I think ) + cockpit optics supports each car's feeling of course), you can even feel the distance of the front<->rear tires in a way, you know.. great !


The BMW Z4 is a quite comfortable to drive car also the Abarth 500 of course, those cars are for guys, who may not like the drifting / the drifting rear of the oher cars.
Just as a tip.
The control on the steering / the feel (on the Lotus and else) is now a little less 'washy' I think, than it was on the TP, which is good.. and general physics of the car glady
has not gone simcade.

Mmm, I heard the same horn on all cars. It makes me laugh that even Formula Abarth and Lotus 49 have it.
