1.3.0 Beta incoming

HI, I'm downloading 1.3 now. So are all the problems with XP or all OS? Is 1.3 more demanding on CPU &GPU?

nah, its the game in general. you will CTD sooner or later. stay away from servers with the KS2 to minimise this.

i believe it is, yes, but not by much. ive noticed my GPU heats up a little more (gtx285 - 3/4c) but its nothing to worry about

clive if you use vista or win7 use the compatibility mode posted in previous posts and you are safe

I am running XP, my PC is too old to run vista or 7.

then you are gonna be crashed all the time online

you guys could try virtual pc software and boot a win7 within it

Albert tries to show you right click on your shortcut netKar, you're in property, and the first command line after.\netKar_ PRO_NT. exe " you made a space and you add the command +fullproc complies with the tiny space and for me it seems to work, launching the game with "Run as administrator"

More testing KS2 1.2 vs 1.3:

Tyres are really changed. I like more this new model. Car is much better balanced. It somehow feels more like real rubber. It's smoother when 1.2 tyre had much harder feeling. Not easy to explain these feelings.

First instinct about grip was kinda right. KS2 has now more downforce, tyres makes it or it has less power. Or some combi.

Example in Aviano 1.2 I needed about 29/16 wings to be able have a flatout in the fast double left hander (the split corner). Now in 1.3 with same setup I can use 15/1 wings and do it flatout. In 1.2 you can hardly drive trough it with those wings.

Although lap times are about same or I'm just out my form. V 1.3 feels like it should be faster.

Other new thing. KS2 does bounce a lot. You can really jump from kerbs and it keeps on bouncing like a tennis ball.

*In Ahvenisto jump KS2 is not a paper plane anymore!

the ks2 responds to bumps and kurbs very well. its more realistic and the revs bounce too which is quite a nice feature. it seems to handle more realisticly now

:S with no wings doesnt seem so realistic wing rearwing at 1 flat out at aviano :S

btw guys is there any master on max outhere? i have a blast of a track converted but need some bumps to be fixed, and i cant myself

... nope, its started crashing again. Real shame as the Vintage's a lot of fun, I was in a sandwich between two cars as we all accelerated hard & the sound was fantastic!

I really love the vintage and it is really nice to have rain in a sim. Vintage has a lot of grip but it is still very challencing car to drive fast, getting on low 1,45 in aviano and I saw one guy doing a high 1,44 today

The collision detection needs some work to it, but otherwise I haven't had this much fun since trying LFS in 2006

I had some crashing problems in multiplayer with win 7 but running the NT on Vista SP2 in compability mode seems to have done the trick for me. Not a single crash tonight.

c'e' poco da postare, su xp ci sono problemi, al momento.

attilio da quanto ho capito ...il problema con xp..e non solo... non e implicabile alla configurazione che ognuno ha, ma dal error signature nkpexe... capita un po a tutti sin dallinizio...anche su sistemi operativi diversi....anche io con xp per i primi tre gg ho iniziato a entrare nei server con piu di10 persone che uscivano e entravano, accendevo la macchina emi butava fuori... 5 min max
due gg fa.. senza modificare NULLA ,compatibilita e assetti gioco e pc...
ho fatto piu di un ora dentro in tre persone...poi errore
ieri sera con altre 3 persone sono riuscito a fare..qualy gara5 gara7 qualy ...poi e uscito maurino e mi e comparso l errore di nuovo...
tutto questo succede a molti anche con vista e 7... molte volte ti lascia giocare ma se allunghi i tempi ...succede alla maggior parte di utenti ..penso...
stiamo attendendo qualcosa che salvi la situazione ...perche cosi ,anche ci ha aquistato adesso la licenza ..il multiplayer e molto precario..e noi vecchimost xp...non riusciamo assolutamente ad usarlo...a me succede che il g25 dopo il crash si immpalla e rimane a sx duro come un ferro fino ad un nuovo riavvio weird....speriamo

well update direct x for his control problems

sorry the italian..only after crash the g25 roll at sx and stack till the new reset..of game or g25..my directx is the last uptade...hope...heeh
my xp problem continue..most wen the server is full , and people go in and out...
2 day ago and..
yesterday I play more than 1 hour whit out problem and whit out set compatibility..(in my option of xp in only avaible..2000 98 nt 95..i was try ..don t open a game on compatibility)...than maurino get out ..and me get a error..
wait x a miracle...

giancarlo why dont you create a little partition to install win7 and then you try with win7 if later you dont like win7 simply delete the partition

I will do soon wen isn't other solution..
...is a long process??? i m always bit nervous wen I touch the OS...
