no changes on the Full Mode in this release. Don't expect anything different from what was there before. As you know, Full Mode is not supported anymore.
Kunos explained many times that having this option available increases tremendously the amount code to support and the amount of testing involved, so it's not feasible to support it anymore.
It's a pity, because a lot of us love using the Full Mode, but it's much better to have improvements on other core areas of the software.

changing the seconds involved per putting a liter into the fuel tank dont think requires lot of coding, mostly changing a single value

changing one value takes only a matter of seconds but when changing multiple values and then testing them against the changes that they make and the other values made against them , rebalancing and then retesting does take time.
once the time is equal for all to fix something or change a tyre it is then not to much of an issue ( 1 second or 100 seconds are the same in some ways ) yes they are not true to a simulation of the race time wise , but as long as people agree to crawl back to the pit to fix it and dont jump out to the pit then its as real as your going to get .

the most important fixes are the netcode and the collisions , as once they are done then the racing and any rules needed to even it out become possible

sono contento che alla fine non potendo più utilizzare il full mode si pensi a un nuovo regolamento che ci permetta comunque di giocare correttamente.

its only changind the amount of time it takes per liter so its just a number simple code eac liter one second just change the 0.100 or watever he have to 0.0150

ok confused by your post then realised that you had put your reply in the quote .... thats sneaky!!!

if that is all it takes then maybe if you could change it all so it is suitable then upload your files (fully tested of course ) then im sure they could be implemented by a league or even kunos himself

for a moment i thought that what you said came from personal experience and the matter was as simple as changing some .ini file for the car and you had done this and tested your figures ,.Now from your second post it seems that it is "hardcoded" in the game and therefore ios not as simple as you make out

i mean i wish i could acces to the code to just edit the amount of time it takes into the game to put a liter of fuel in full mode, but only kunos can edit the code.

and that would not be hard work since its just a value normally in racing games the pysics are numbers and equations

You guys know about open source software, right? Where everyone has access to, and can improve, the code... maybe what the world needs is an open source racing sim, that the whole community can develop and improve. That would be awesome.... but drifting OT.

Racer has an older version that's open source (for educational purposes). I doubt a truly open source sim' would work in such a small & competitive market, as they'd be very few people actually talented enough to work on it, & the big guys would probably just pinch the good stuff (or the devs themselves Razz).

yeah and with this society we live in based on money and making profit, the other company competing with you would edit the code to brake it and cause trouble.

There are a lot of companies involved in Linux kernel, and i don't see they broke the code, Wink

There are open source alternatives in racing sim.

Racer is not anymore open source, but it's used as simulator by one F1 team taking the old free source and making modifications to solve their needs.
Speed dreams is a good simulator, but it's alpha state, planning to change engine, etc.
Vdrift too arcade for my taste, but fun to make drifts.
StuntRally, based on Vdrift but with OGRE engine.
Rigs of Rods, uses OGRE engine and you can drive any vehicle you can imagine.

There are choices, just waiting for more people to contribute to mature enough.

PD: I can run nkpro on Linux using PlayOnLinux. Still one bug online that shows all cars in a little window, instead of his place. Maybe on next version they will solve the bug i filled, Wink

I think Racer is used cos of the developer working for Cruden, who's motion platform's used by F1 teams, & I think widely considered to be the best out there (for 120k you would hope so Razz). You got nKPro to run on Linux Jose? I know some guys on GPC a while back said they tried with Wine but couldn't get it to work. Can you explain a little more the bug you're experiencing (I don't fully understand)? Only other sim' I've heard of from that list is Speed Dreams, I think cos you've mentioned it on GPC before Smile
