RSR Live Timing

I wanted to post this in AC forum's thread, but did not find it.

Problem: For some reason once when the light is red (off track) now, then it will stay red and will never recover to green again (unless you reload the complete session from the game's main menue of course), as it did normally when you cross the start/finish line at the start of your hotlap. I was not getting off track in the track-section pre the hotlap starts in those cases, so that's not the reason for it.

But I did not encounter this problem at my first sessions this evening, only in my second session later this evening it occured, without any changes except car setup of course. Will check if this problem will maybe be 'solved by itself' or not.

I get driver is not recognized by Rsr timing since the 0.22.3 update ? It worked earlier today before update?

Any fix for this?

I think maybe a bit more info in either (or both) the readme and set-up guide would be nice!

Stuff like:
Exactly what events can/do you have to run to get a valid lap time? Race,quic race,hotlap,challenge ,all ???????
All set-ups?
Glossary of your invalid descriptions would be nice...
Ive googled the poop out of many different terms to try and fix my problem and i get nothing!

Im trying to post a lap in qualify during a race weekend, every time i cross the line, even though my icon is green, i get "car into the pit.invalid lap" HUH? IN english please?

Im not "entering the pit" im laying flying laps...

Going crazy here, im sure its something simple im doing, cant help but think just a little more info would have saved me going crazy trying to figure it out and having to make this post...

but AC itself in v0.22 now controls/checks the ride high: certain cars must have a minimum of 61mm ride high now, (which I don't like too much atm., because now it's impossible to beat (your and else) existing records, -was using ride high betwen 52 and 58 before in MCL GT3 for example).

So this app is working on the current build?

I tried in challenge-hotlap, and i still get that stupid invalid enter pit rubbish, why?
Im logged in, light is green every lap(im not running of) yet every time i cross the line the same thing...

On the not beating previous times thing, been wondering myself about the existing times staying up during the development of the sim with things like tire model changing etc

Really, when there's any significant physics changes in the engine, all pre existing times should be wiped as they are no longer valid.

I notice some of the records date back to jan this year! Im only new, but i imagine the engine has changed a fair bit since jan no?

No, still not in current build of course but until previous builds.
Noone is doing recognized hotlaps atm., just look at AC live timing site's log-activities below at "Latest live news". If the app-programmer is on holidays, than it could take some time until a update is there. So I would not expect it too soon this time.

I saw devs away (post on steam forum) be nice if they made a note on the dl page that its currently not working, I respect that they are away, but that's not something that's very hard to do! Would save lots of frustration like I have experienced today!

Edit: In MP race sesions also, I forgot. But then only the laptime is recorded, without having split times recorded as well.

I see another mysterium about the rank, when I look at Monza66 + Lotus98T for just an example. There are many names missing in the rank, which were all there on thursday still.
Me on pos.4 is missing in name suddenly, pos.5 was/is Klaus Ellenb. normally and so on, many more with missing names. No newly submitted laps there since thursday, just missing names all over in the rank.

What happened ? Maybe it has s.th. to do with the AC update and all who try to start the app delete their names in the rank. My name and other's names are missing on every track I / they ever drove on.

Now I found the thread on AC forum (easy with usage of the forum search ).

And yes -it's written there- some are on holidays indeed. So just: unwilled "bad timing" as the udpate came out this time.

Hmm, I still have the problem (written in post 402) that the App will not recognize, when I cross the finish line and start a new lap and thus it will not set the light to green (valid) again.
It stays at the previous staus (red) all the time, after 1-X laps.
Seems like it only happens at Monza66 though (all cars), so I could live with it. But s.th. minor seems to go wrong there.

Update: Ok, now I got the 'rule' when this behaviour occurs on this track. When you get off track (red light) an directly afterwards klick 'Restart Session', then the red light will never go out again in 98% of the cases. Sometimes (the 2%) it may get green after 'Restart Session', then you're lucky , but otherwise/normally it'll stay red forever even after crossing the finish line. -Until you reload the session from game menue of course.
So solution is simple: As long as I complete every lap / cross the finish line of every lap, in which I got off the track, the light will get green again as expexted.
Then when the light is green again, I'm finally ready to click 'Restart Session' for finally a "green restart" then, if I want to.

Any others who feel frustrated about record lap times which are impossible to reach with the current version of Assetto Corsa?

I could imagine that most serious racers would most likely compare themselves to see where they could realistically improve themselves. If wiping the data is not feasable (which should be done for 1.0 final release anyway ) I would suggest following feature request - this should also encourage current WR holders to re-confirm their capabilities on the current AC Version

RSRLiveTimeing Feature Request:
Add an additional Filter on AC Version >= 1.0* to enable filtering lap times of racers which have the same version installed as oneself
- make a current version the default
- maybe also add an additional Column to show the AC Version in the list

We prefer to keep support on one place only. The right place is the official AC forum, as mentioned in the installation guide.
Please create a post there, attaching the logs we ask for in the installation guide.

This is our community forum. We use it extensively in the past with nkpro, and it's now a bit quite, since AC has it own official forum. We will use this forum mainly to organize our own championships/races in AC.

On the last weekend i did a world record with bmw m3 E30 group A on Magione. My world record is already deleted from the site. Am i did something wrong it was just a system failure? thx!

Di solito facciamo supporto solo sul forum di AC, ma faccio un'eccezione in questo caso.

segnala il tempo che ti sembra anomalo tramite il tasto report lap. Faremo le nostre verifiche.
L'app ha un sistema anticheat, e se qualcuno viene pescato ad usare qualche metodo metodo strano per andar veloce, lo banniamo a vita
