Thanks to a nice idea of Robert Chesters, we decided to have a short championship inspired to the Champ Car World Series.
We will be racing on 2 tracks used in this league, Montreal and Laguna Seca, and on the Oval, were Champ Cars usually run.
All races will be on full mode using Formula 2000.
We will be using GPCOS as league management solution (thanks Jaap for this nice tool!).
Just a side note: the newer tracks are still not in GPCOS, so we are using different track names for now. Right information are provided in the race info.
Sorry for the inconvinient. We hope we can fix it soon.
Here is our calendar:
8 Jun 2009 Laguna Seca Pre-release test (Aviano Intermediate 1 in GPCOS) SPECIAL EVENT
15 Jun 2009 Montreal (Montreal in GPCOS) OFFICIAL CHAMPIONSHIP RACE
17 Jun 2009 Crema (Prato Full GP in GPCOS) SPECIAL EVENT
25 Jun 2009 Oval (Newbury 2006 in GPCOS) OFFICIAL CHAMPIONSHIP RACE
29 Jun 2009 Laguna Seca (Aviano Intermediate 1 in GPCOS) OFFICIAL CHAMPIONSHIP RACE
10 Jul 2009 Singapore (Snetterton in GPCOS) SPECIAL EVENT
Our aim of this first championship is to learn how to properly organize a league. We hope you will provide us some feedbacks and some ideas for improvements.
From the other side, we wish we can help Gerrit de Vries to test his newer works, the Oval track and Laguna Seca, so that he can get some more input to finilize his work.
A big thank you to Gerrit as well for his help and patience!
As you will notice there is a lot of new thing going on, so we hope you will forgive us some mistakes in the next month!

Please note that we have limited places available. Each race will be with a maximum of 15 drivers. We want to keep the format of this first league as simple as possible.
For each event only the first 15 drivers correcly allocated will be racing. Reserve drivers can race if the allocated drivers will not show up on time.
The chat here in the forum will be used as meeting point before the session starts.
For each event a specific thread will be open in this forum.
