21 Oct 2010: A1 Ring

Welcome to the new A1-Ring.
This old nice track create for the namie has been remodel, smoothing some bumps, creating a new box, fixing a lot of bug and creating new camera.

Andrea, Albert, Fulvio (Gek) and Mario worked on it. The track is still not finished, but it's already a big improvement from the namie version. I want to thank Roby_G, who originally converted this track for the namie, for allowing us to take over his work and to bring it in nkpro.

This track is still only for radiators-champ users. We are planning to release it, as soon as it will be completed.

new version released (v0.9.1) in the control center

- some new textures
- new lights
- added flags
- improved 3d
- fixed bugs
- added map for the gui and the steering wheel
- added track configuration

NOTE: the old version will not work anymore because of the change on the configuration.

i cambiamenti si sono visti e la pista ha acquistato una veste ancora più bella si vedono le bandiere ottimo lavoro peccato che abbia cancellato anche i tempi questa versione che avevo stabilito con la vecchia, ma la cosa non mi disturba.

che cosa intendi con "abbiamo cancellato i tempi"?

Andrea c'era un fastidioso difetto nella versione 0.9, non ho ancora provato se è stato risolto in questa nuova versione.In pratica rimangono chiuse le saracinesche dei primi 2 box (quelli più vicini all'uscita dalla pit-line), essendo da solo nel server ho provato a partire ugualmente ed ho attraversato la saracinesca senza problemi... quindi è solo un difetto grafico che continua, nonostante ci sia una vettura nel box, a tenerla chiusa. Una volta entrato Luca, è stato posizionato di fianco a me e presentava lo stesso problema.... nei box successivi questo non succedeva perchè all'entrata di Giancarlo e Stephane nel server i loro garage erano correttamente "aperti" mentre i nostri rimanevano chiusi e dovevamo attraversare come fantasmi la saracinesca chiusa.

intendo che istallando la nuova versione non è tenuto il pb della pista della versione precedente

I really appreciate the work of the track-converters / -developers, very very nice track (with all its Austria-scenery, 'light-effects', nice trees,..).
Barcelona was very nice too, very detailed beside the track... and Brno was also well done ! Great work.

I love this track (A1), it is probably the easiest to learn, -cause there are only seven corners..., but it is still very challenging because of the speed overall on the track.. .

Risolto sulla nuova versione! Ottimo lavoro!

Quando entro nel forum mi esce il popup che è disponibile la nuova versione dell'A1Ring la 0.9.2, mentre nel pannello di controllo trovo ancora la 0.9.1 dell'altro giorno, nuova rispetto alla prima, ma non 0.9.2.
E' solo un errore del popup o sono io che non trovo il link alla nuova versione?
Per stasera mi sa che non riesco ad esserci perchè sono qui, ma potrei dovermi assentare da un momento all'altro.
Comunque voglio essere sicuro di avere la pista giusta!

8 years ago i've visited the real track in Austria, for GT Fia and Etcc races.
I've planted my tent in a large meadow in front the entrance:

on the fields around, cows
into track over the escapes, cows
everywere, cows....

remember those fierce creatures, tonight i've grazed my car on server...

Fast as a cat of stone in qualify (second-last on R1, last on R2...) i tried to play
my cards during race. Unfortunatly on first stint i've loose car control for a strong braking
to avoid Andrea in front of me, and i involved Albert (sorry mate) in a crash as a couple

R2 finished 7th without praise or blame

I've forgot to congratulate with Minh Tuan, and Maartens for their victories

This time again I've been hit by Mauro Delaga I attack during 3 corners => no problem, I overtake and Mauro defend with early breaking => I'm out with broken suspension
It's very disgusting for me because I love racing with all of you just for the fun, but apparently somme people wan't more championship points than having fun in good racing
I think it was the last race with F1800 for me, bored by such things. I hope the next chamiponship will be cleaner.

whatever, thanks to all others drivers for good battles in training races, and thanks to the organisation for that chamionship and to offer us such loving tracks

Ciao Fred, I'm really sorry that I got involved in an accident with you for the second time
I had 2 accindents in 2 years of championships and all with you!
I spent almost all my time working on Mugello. Therefore, I haven't been practicing for our championship races as I should have.
This is not an excuse. Maybe i shouldn't have joined the races, but I love racing and having fun, just like you.
Next race will be in Mugello.
There I'm really trained for sure!!!
Please don't miss it.
I prefer not to race my self, instead of having you not racing.
Once more my apologies for my mistake!
I'll be waiting for you at Mugello, hopefully not to destroy your car once more!

my reaction was a little bit exaggerated
we have a fantastic race begining, with intense and realy fair fight, so I think ( even I'm sure ) I was frustrated our fight can't continue.
You've just made a mistake on breaking, like all of us could do at anytime, it's just that I'm not lucky with that apparently
I'm so loving racing in this champ that I can't miss another race, so I'll be there for the next and don't training too much otherwise I 'll not be able to follow you. (I wan't another clean fight like it was at A1 )

so forget this mistake, for me it's all good, and see you on track at Mugello
