We are currently finalizing the 2 new upcoming Radiators Springs Racing Championship seasons.

The idea is to run 2 different series at the same time, driving always on Thursday night, and alternating the two series:
- Osella Series
- KS2 Series

Everyone can choose the one to pick up, running in only one of both of them.



KS2 Series will follow the F1 calendar, so we will start practicing on Friday when the F1 drivers go on track and having the race on the following Thursday. This will allow us to enjoy the F1 race, and learn the trick for our race.

We decided to split the F1 calendar in 3 different KS2 series. For each series points will be reset.
The 3 season will be completely separated. Each new season points will be reset. Driver can decide to join 1 season or 2 or 3, or even to start in the middle of one season.
At the end of the 3 season we will sum up the points of the 3 series for crown the overall championship also.

The idea for the KS2 series is to have a 20 minutes qualification and 1 long race (we will communicate later the amount of laps).




The Osella Series will be in the other days. We decided to start as soon as possible and to start with well known tracks, so everyone will be ready for the beginning of the championship.

The idea for this championship, is instead to have an extremely short qualification and 2 races. 1 without pitstop, and an other with pitstop.


General informations
Both series, KS2 and Osella, will be in Full Mode, and with realistic weather (based on the real life weather conditions on the event day).

As usual we will be running the Team Championship also. Maximum 2 drivers per team are allowed.
If you don't want to create your own team you can use the default team "Radiators-champ". This team doesn't have any limit on the number of drivers, therefore will not participate for the team championship title.

Radiators Springs Racing presenta i nuovi campionati.

Avremo 2 differenti campionati attivi nello stesso periodo. Gareggeremo sempre di Giovedi' sera, alternando le gare dei due campionati:
- Osella Series
- KS2 Series

Potrete decide se partecipare ad un solo campionato oppure ad entrambi.



Il campionato KS2 Series seguira' il calendario di F1. Inizieremo a far pratica sul nuovo circuito il venerdi' insieme ai piloti di F1 e avremo la nostra gara di giovedi', dopo aver imparato i segreti del circuito dai piloti di F1.

Abbiamo deciso di dividere il campionato di F1 in 3 differenti KS2 Series, indipendenti tra loro. Ad ogni stagione, i punti saranno resettati.

Ogni pilota puo' decidere se partecipare a 1 o piu' stagioni, o anche iniziare nel mezzo di una stagione.

Alla fine delle 3 stagioni, sara' calcolata anche la somma dei punti delle 3 stagioni per coronare il campione dell'intero campionato.

L'idea per questo campionato e', invece, di avere una qualifica molto corta e 2 gare per evento. 1 senza pitstop e l'altra con.


Informazioni generali
In entrambi in campiontati, KS2 and Osella, si usera' il Full Mode, con meteo realistico (basato sulle reali condizioni meteo sul circuito nel giorno dell'evento).

Come al solito si correra' anche per il campionato a squadre. Ogni team puo' essere composto da un massimo di 2 piloti.
Se non volete creare il vostro team potrete usare il team di default "Radiators-champ". Questo team non ha alcun limite di piloti, percui non partecipera' al titolo di campionato a squadre.

For the KS2 series, if you had already a team on the previous season you can still use that. In this case just select "Start driving" and pick your team up from the KS2 list. All teams are automatically transferred to the new KS2 Season.

For the Osella series, your team manager need to subscribe the team (that needs to be approved by the league organizer) before you can place your driver into the team.

hmm, difficult to decide. having a full-track season with KS2 is a nice idea.. .
but driving a different car (Osella) would be a nice change too that I would personally prefer, so (if I would even get up to speed with it a bit more) I'll probably join the league with the Osellato have some 'new fun' with this kind of car.

I have so many other opinions..I find this calendar very bad..The hole thing.
I will not write my ideas because i can make a page...Instead of that im telling u make some POLLS ask people what they want to make a good champ...Dont rush..

let's continue the conversation here. you can suggest there contents for polls also.

we tried to get some of the ideas we read from all of you, but obviously it's never easy to create a champ that fits everyone needs. Please write something more about your ideas. We can still change things, in this phase.

KS2 series, was splitted in 3 different, separated, championship from the first announcement.
I think that seeing there the long term plan on the same announcement was a bit confusing.

I'm very happy about these new KS2 championships...I can't wait until the start of this new challenge!!! Thanks to Andrea and to all the guys involved into the organization of these new champs...

Bahrain GP cancelled .. will the ks2 race manage to go ahead with all the civil unreast?

LONDON (Reuters) - The season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix on March 13 was called off on Monday due to unrest in the country, but organizers hope the race can be re-scheduled later in the year.

The final pre-season test scheduled for March 3 at the Sakhir circuit south of Manama was also canceled and the 12 teams instead opted to remain at the Barcelona circuit in Spain.

The decision to give up on the race, announced in a statement but already considered a foregone conclusion in F1 circles, means the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on March 27 will now be the first event on what was planned to be a record 20-round calendar.

"The Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) today announced that the Kingdom of Bahrain would withdraw from hosting this year's F1 Grand Prix race so that the country can focus on its process of national dialogue," the Bahrain statement said.

Grandissima idea quella di ricalcare esattamente le gare dello scorso campionato F1...per non parlare della variabile meteo!!!!
Per problemi tecnici non potro partecipare ai primi 2/3 appuntamente........ma quando partirò spero di farlo più forte di prima!!!

i`m fully new in NKP, but really interest in practice on it.. so want to take part in champ (of cause if my time and setup will competitive with yours)... i dont how to setup the car in NKp, so starts teaching... some help appreciate.. thanks
