KSR Kunos Sim Racing

Hi!

im making this announcement with Andrea support

Im starting a forum for kunos sims where all communities, teams, and drivers can share all about what they are doing

The main point of this is to all of us have a place to find whats happening in "Kunos World"

There is in there a calendar with all events and leagues planned until now in all communities i had found ...its a hard job but im getting there ... still some communities to update

There is also a section for teams where you can post your activities, videos, ...
If your team is not in there just send me a message and i will create a space for you

There are not so many drivers in netKar pro at this moment so i think this will be a good place for everyone from different places connect eachother

Of course i will not have any monetary profit from this ... just the satisfaction to see more people running in netKar servers ... sharing stuff and opinions

They are all legal and working without asking disc check

I see some tracks that should be removed, as they're unauthorized conversions (Riccardo Paletti, Mid Ohio) or they should have cd/dvd-check (Donington Park, Spa 2010, Barcelona 2010).
Andrea will be able to tell you more in detail which files should be deleted, I think.

Jorge, this is not good. There is a reason for having the cd/dvd checks, and it's to pay respect to the owner of the track that was converted. Simbin explicitely asked for a cd check in case of conversions.
In our forum we don't want to support links to unauthorized tracks. You can obviously do whatever you want on your forum, but in this case don't put a link on our forum. I removed the link to your forum in the previous posts. You can add the link again if you will remove links to illegal tracks in your forum.
Those tracks are basically Simbin's or tracks not authorized by the owners, just like the one mentioned by Andrea Candini before.

I posted all the ones i found who dont need cd check cause i thought that was ok ... but it seems its the other way around ... if i post a version with cd check they become legal ...

I will aprecciate a lot if someone post a clear and complete info about this so there will be no doubts about wich ones are illegal or not

Of course i will delete the illegal ones or replace it with a cd check ... i dont want be a outlaw

I just deleted the ones in the link you gave me Andrea ... Candini said Riccardo Paletti and Donington Park are also illegal but in the link it says they are ok Can you clarify me about that?

I'm sure Riccardo Paletti is illegal. The guys that created that track have been quite annoyed about the conversion.

Donington is a simbin conversion with cd check, so it's legal. you can find it here

Points System

The points sytem will be based on Log Parser







* Contacts, damage, and yellow flags

. All contacts will be analysed by me

. You will not be penalised if you suffer contact from behind

. You will not be penalised if yellow flag is caused by contact from behind.

. You will get the 5 extra points to repair damage only if the contact and damage was not caused by you (you will only get the 5 extra points once no matter how many times you pit to repair damage)

nice idea. Just out of curiosity, how are you going to calculate automatically if anyone was pitting to repair damages? this info isn't in the log, as far as I know. Have you found a way to do deduct it? The only way I can think of to detect if anyone is in the pits is if he is speeding in pits.

Nothing will be automatically... i have no programer skills for that ... i wish i could do what you guys do in RSR with all this interfaces and Live Timing

I will do everything manually

I will analyse my self every contacts during the race and decide who fault is ... and i will watch if the driver who got bumped will go to the pits in the next laps ... it will give me some work to analyse everything if many drivers participate but i dont mind

... anyway im not expecting many drivers to sign up cause its a car not many like to drive and i think people prefer just to compete in a regular race instead of just cruising together ... but i like to try different stuff ... maybe there are some cruisers out there who like the idea
