Misano World Circuit - version 1.0 released

Spotted an error with track and curb alignment. Link updated

- added a new starting light to help pole lights visibility incar with extreme visual settings
- changed name from MWC to MisanoWorldCircuit
- added grip variations to artificial grass and runoff areas (thanks to Toni Rubiejo for tests and sggestions)
- added poligons to sooth some turns a bit
- retextured pitlane exit

retextured artificial grass and green concrete to visually
differentiate surfaces (they have different grip and different colors in
real version too)
- fixed car shadow disappearing on braking prints

Please, should you spot errors in the track layout or
bugs, fill free to drop a line here, so that everything will be possibly
fixed before the realease of version 1.0.
Attributions are in the ReadMe file.

Suggestion: set textures to max in netKar-Pro Video settings.

Latest minute fixes:
- filled holes
- added groove textures (brakings and tyreprints)
- changed loading image from MotoGP copyrighted to CreativeCommons.

Ciao a tutti,
da qualche tempo sto lavorando a una versione del Misano World Circuit per netKar Pro.
L'idea è nata dopo aver visto che non ne esisteva una versione recente, e dopo aver letto che i ragazzi di MaiDireCamber si proponevano di realizzarla, ma con l'idea di rilasciarla solo per AssettoCorsa.
Essendo la mia prima esperienza con un tracciato mi sto prendendo dei tempi fra il lungo e il biblico, ma alla fine, il risultato che mi preme ottenere è che il layout della pista sia il più preciso possibile. Per questo sto cercando persone che abbiano girato a Misano.

Se verificare lunghezza, larghezza, raggi di curva della pista non è difficile utilizzando le tecnologie a disposizione (la lunghezza è già precisa al metro), è molto più difficile indovinare le pendenze, il banking, le sconnessioni potendosi basare solo sugli onboard video (non tantissimi fra l'altro).
Quindi, chiunque abbia girato a Misano e voglia riportare tutte le imprecisioni, per favore risponda qui o mi mandi un messaggio privato.

Devo precisare che, nel file del tracciato, ci sono degli elementi che sto usando per farlo e che non sono miei, quindi non posso distribuirlo pubblicamente finché non li avrò sostituiti.
Per questa ragione invito chiunque voglia dare una mano a impegnarsi a non distribuire la pista finché non sarà finita.

My aim is to have the best possible track layout, so I am looking for anyone with experience on the real track.

Important: at the present time, the track file contains elements taken from other older versions, and I have no right to publicly distribute the track until I will have substituted these elements with the new ones. Should you like to lend a hand, please abide to not re-distribute the track until it is finished.

One of the great things about Misano is that Google was there with their street view cameras. That can help for sure!

PS: la versione della pista è quella più vecchiotta, la nuova ha anche le sgommate, te la consiglio

Non andare troppo sotto, o addiritura lascialo inalterato. Io starei su 0.95-0.9 come soglia piu' bassa. Piu' scendi piu' avrai effetti strani. Noi, dopo tanti tentativi abbiamo deciso di lasciarlo inalterato (ad 1 quindi). Non ne valeva la pena. Anche parlando con alcuni piloti, hanno detto che su qui tappetini si va senza alcun dramma, tanto e' vero che li vedi spesso belli gommati.

A sto punto sono in crisi... Toni mi dice "like water" (quindi interpreto come sulla pista bagnata). Rossi, dopo il botto del povero Tomizawa, diceva "è vero, l'erba finta ha meno grip dell'asfalto, ma più di quella vera". Quindi io pensavo a valori molto bassi, tipo 70. Questo perché la cosa diventerebbe fantastica, credo, sul bagnato.
Dall'altro lato l'esperienza con netKar ce l'hai tu, e mi fido molto. Boh. Ci penso un altro po', intanto grazie

Fai qualche prova a chiedi a Toni di testarla. Chi meglio di lui puo' aiutarti. Figurati, l'esperienza del nostro team su nk e' solo basata su tante prove, e tanti km in virtuale, ma non certo su esperienza in una pista reale. Per quello ci affidiamo a consigli esterni, e un po' di buon senso. Il gripmod, sinceramente non ci e' mai piacuto piu' di tanto, ma e' solo una sensazione, ovviamente. Ben contento di essere smentito da persone con piu' esperienza.
Per farti un altro esempio, Albert aveva settato Barcelona nella parte esterna della Repsol, il grip a 0.96 sull'astalto (che in quella zona doveva essere meno gommato e con piu' detriti, e quindi con meno grip), e gia' un -0.04 si sente. Se vai li' vedrai che la macchina allarga parecchio e si comporta in maniera strana, soprattutto con tanti cavalli, come la KS2.

It's difficult to explain how a car behaves off the court, depending on the conditions and dirt the same circuit.
We split:
In the area of artificial grass loss is similar grip as a gear change in manual, notes that loses traction (push), but the wheels do not get dirty.

When you're on the way out of asphalt is like a loss of grip in the wet condition and go with wet tyres, but the wheels are dirty to collect dirt asphalt and it takes several curves to eliminate, is similar as get out of the gravel but not so dirty.

Succede perché dalla beta alla versione 1.0, ho cambiato il nome alla pista. Sul server c'è ancora la versione beta (MWC).

e' possibile che il nome del tracciato/configurazione sia cambiato dalle versioni di test (istallata sul nostro server) e la v1.0. Appena possibile istallero' la nuova versione sul server. Purtroppo Roberto, forse anche visto l'orario della release , si e' scordato di avvisarci.
