Misano World Circuit version 1.1

Hi all,
I completed a new version of the Misano World Circuit track.
It has the 2 layouts available in real life: Tracciato Lungo (4226 mts, MotoGP layout) and Tracciato Corto (4048 mts, most car races, testing etc.)

The layout has been tuned to perfectly match size and direction of real life track.
The "rubbered" darker zone of track is the real one of Misano: a desatureted and blurred aerial photo placed on the track - no stretching allowed

Disclaimer: use of this track is allowed for personal use and for community racing provided that no one will ask money in any form (sale of driving licenses, championship fees etc are not allowed. Non-mandatory donations to organizing server are allowed).
This track is given away for free and must remain free.

Eh eh I hope that when AssettoCorsa will be running, Boni will have a great modding team and work at his own version. After all the initial idea of Misano came from him, and I asked permission to stole his idea and make Misano for netKar.
Should anything I made be useful, I will make all files available, but I guess Boni will get more pleasure from a scratch new project

to tell the truth Misano was also in the list of Radiator and now everything is stopped ... in the future we will see how things go...

I knew little about this track, having (up to now), never put one single little piece of rubber on the track or even watched any racing on the track..........I like.. 

Just been round it and I can honestly say............ I at least know where all gravel traps, grass and barriers are.!!!!

Tested the track some minutes ago.
All i can say is, that i really like the track.
First day ever on this track, didnt know it before.
Did some laps in the f2000.What is a fast laptime on this track?? Does someone know?
i did 1:37:5, but i think that is not very fast, need to work on the setup tho!

I don't know what to think about laptimes.
I see a 1:34.4 at the first link, and a 1:36.7 at the second link..
My best is 1:37.0 (not really tried with F2000, but being the author I have the advantage of knowing the track)

With F3 the gap is almost the same:
real life pole position: 1:30.8
my best lap: 1:32.9

I guess I will have to smooth a bit three points:
- last turn (T16) in my Misano version has less banking and a higher curb then the real one
- Curva del Tramonto (T10) has quite the same aspects: almost flat in my version, a bit more tilted the real one.
- Tornante (T10): flatter than real too.
These differences may give quite some tenths to the laptimes, mainly because one would accelerate faster with more tilted turns.
I will eventually fix them, but I would like to wait for the netKar drivers to test it, maybe you the fast guys can get laptimes nearer to real life ones. Should the netKar laptimes go near the real ones, there is no need to change things: it's pretty sad to have a virtual track easier than the real one

We are running our Live time on both configurations:

I did some laps on the server, but my laptime is not shown in ranking.
Dont know if it takes some time... maybe there is something wrong :-)
Or im too slow for the tracker :-))))

EDIT: Maybe its cause i did some qualy-sessions and not race-sessions ?!!? I dont know ... :-) :-) :-)

I think the rank is still just configured to only accept the 'old' + quicker standard version (of physics) of the standard v1.3 final of NetKar -still without the latest autoupdate-.
Is this correct ? (Some of you might know better)
So you could say the rank is "outdated". Always a pity to remove all records from the rank (restarting the whole thing from zero..), because there is a new version of physics out, so
it just sticks to the previous version to not trash all the current records I think.

Idea: Maybe a switch between the last two versions [Hikki 1.3.5.. & Hikki 1.3.7..] would be nice to be programmed / implemented to the rank.

I meant the RSR live timing WIP and not the waagenvoort homepage!

Hi Arne, unfortunately we have an error on our live timing service. I need Luca to have a look at it. Not sure if he has any time now. I'll let you know once the problem is solved.

Hi guys, I'd love to race at this track but when it's loading it crashes(when it is on "initializing track"). Tracks seems to load, but when the initializing starts, nkpro crashes.

I downloaded the track twice but still problem. Anyone has an idea?

EDIT: Looks like the version on RSR main page downloads is oudated. Grabbed the one Roberto put in his 1st post and it works!

Sorry Joco, you are absolutely right. I didn't update the package in our download section before.

I just uploaded the new version (1.1) in the download section, and updated the first post with the RSR mirror (that should be faster than the mediafire one).
