Version Switcher How To?

How exactly does one setup the version switcher?

What files is it switching and how can I backup those up first, along with my current files so when the switch is done, I don't potentially lose anything?

If I remember, at install time you have to tell the program where to look for your netKar folder (something like C:/Program Files/nkpro13)
I don't think a backup is needed if you use the Version Switcher (I guess it has a copy of both the needed versions of files).

Anyways, the files to backup if you want are: nks.exe and nkserver.exe
Other files have been added with the upgrade, but the replaced ones are only the 2 mentioned above.
I use the switcher everyday, I think that Wally did a great work!

Thanks for the reply. I guess what I was looking for more so is how it manages nks.exe and nkserver.exe so I could say, switch between the nkpro and a RSR version by using the switcher.

Basically, trick the switcher to think my alternat versions are the old version and have it switch between nkpro original and alternate... if that makes sense.

I'm assuming nkserver.exe and nks.exe -> nkserver.exe.40.bk and nks.exe.40.bk

?

It will either copy nks.exe.40.bk and nkserver.exe.40.bk over nks.exe and nkserver.exe, to run the "old version",
or it copies its internal nks.exe and nkserver.exe to run the "new" version.
