7 March 2013: F2000 @ Imola Special Event

Few days ago we reached a very nice goal: 10.000 downloads for our Imola track.
To celebrate our achievement we decided to go back on track with netKar PRO and organize a special event at Imola with the F2000.
Here is the schedule:
Thurday 7th March 2013 at 21:00 CET (GTM+1)
short briefing in our forum chat
Qualification: 20 minutes
Race 1: 8 laps
Race 2: 16 laps

We want to keep it simple, so will have require no registration for this event.
To help us out with the organization, and to plan the right amount of servers, please, write here in this topic if you want to race with us.
Please use your real name here in the forum.
On Thurday at 21:00, just show up here in our chat and we will give all the informations to join our server.
The race server will be with password on Thursday and the password will be provided during the briefing in our chat.

Our practice server is already up and with Live Timing.

You can use the utilityJump2nkp to join the server from the Online Server List

Per rendere le cose piu' semplici possibili, non richiediamo alcuna registazione per il questo evento.
Per aiutarci nell'organizzazione e pianificare correttamente il numero di server necessari, vi chiediamo semplicemente di scrivere su questo topic se volete gareggiare con noi.
Per favore usate il vostro nome e cognome sul nostro forum.

L'appuntamente e' per Giovedi' alle 21:00 nella nostra chat, dove daremo tutte le informazioni necessarie per entrare nel nostro server di gara.
Il server sara' munito di password, che sara' comunicata giovedi' durante il briefing in chat.

I nostri server di pratica sono gia' attivi e con il Live Timing attivo.

General rules

Give space to your opponents in the chicanes


Corner cutting, for example if you cut a chicane going straight on the grass/sand, is not allowed.
Going slighly off track, for example on the green extensions.
I'll be a bit more specific:
4 Tamburello: allowed to go on the green extension. if you go even wider you will loose time on the sand, therefore it's tollerated.
6 Villeneuve: allowed to go on the green extension. if you go even wider you will loose time on the sand, and the wall is close enough, therefore it's tollerated.
9 Piratella: allowed to go on the green extension. not a problem if you go even wider by mistake. You will do more space anyway.
12-13 Acque Minerali: allowed to go on the green extensions. If you go even wider, please lift off. if you gain a position, give it back
15 Variante alta: allowed to go wider on the exit. The wall is scary enough!
18-19 Rivazza: allowed to go on the green extensions. if you go even wider you will loose time on the sand, therefore it's tollerated.

(sorry, if I'm using a trackmap with chicane in the main straight. we are using the Full GP version)

No limitations on the number of servers. The more we are, the more fun we will have

good news.. my train goes friday in the morning, so I will be racing!!

I'll be there too on Thrusday.
I think I now did a better kind of setup for the F2000 than I used at all the events before (Oschersleben and so on), which still were all based on Mika's KS2 setup, but weren't driveable with the F2000 totally well (the reason for that were some for the F2000 not useful fix preload settings or to be more precise: the use of shorter rods to adjust to correct ride height at such fix preload settings let the suspension too less space to work). Driving and controlling that car is now much better with this changes.

Tonight I'll post the setup I'm using (I think it was developed by someone else in my team. Can't remember anymore ). It's pretty stable and fast enough (I got to a 1:41.598 with margin of improvements).

Please guys, post here your setup as well. This will help a lot guys that are new to nkpro.

I did a 1.41.6XX with this setup, but the tires seem to last only from 2nd to 4th lap..although I dont get over 90 deg.

Mi sono iscritto (credo... ) Dopo un po' di settimane non mi ricordo più niente...Nel control center ho scelto special event radiator team , ma ha dato errore, però ho visto che mi sono allocato regolarmente.
