28 March 2013: Gallardo B-DAY @ A1-Ring

In few days it will be our Gallardo first birthday: 1 year from the release.
To celebrate its birthday we decided to organize a special event at A1-Ring with the Gallardo.
Here is the schedule:
Thurday 28th March 2013 at 21:00 CET (GTM+1)
short briefing in our forum chat
Qualification: 20 minutes
Race 1: 9 laps
Race 2: 15 laps

We want to keep it simple, so will have require no registration for this event.
To help us out with the organization, and to plan the right amount of servers, please, write here in this topic if you want to race with us.
Please use your real name here in the forum.
On Thurday at 21:00, just show up here in our chat and we will give all the information to join our server.
The race server will be with password on Thursday and the password will be provided during the briefing in our chat.

Our practice server is already up and with Live Timing.

Small, but important update on the car

Gallardo Valentino Balboni v1.1 [23/03/2012]: tires upgrade
- tire grip increased, due to a change in netKar PRO v.1.3.0.1727 compared to the previous release.


you can download the full package v1.1 or the update only (from v.1.0 to v1.1)


This update will bring back the tire grip to the one we had in the initial release.

It feels very good in the fast corners, I had to raise the front to produce less downforce on the front to get the Aero balance a bit to the back, so in the slow corners you might be a bit slower but the car is well balanced in the fast corners.
I will work on it the next days, for example the differencial settings is not very good now.

Thx to some driving today, I discovered that my performance drop down I always spoke about in the context of AC TP, is a current problem of my PC (graphic card) and not AC.

Originally my name is "Wächter" [like the "sentinel" in engl.] of course. I just always unfortunately have to type it as "Waechter" in here, in NKPro, AC & also IR [I'm not anymore at IR atm] and elsewhere, because the Umlaut (german) / mutated vowel (english) "ä" is not accepted as a regular charset in games and forums, so if I would write "Wächter" in IR for example, I get "W?chter" (that was exactly how my name looked like there in the Sim), lol, or "W_chter" in AC and whatever sort of 'strange' looking stuff.. . So in german (and I assume elswhere too) language we just simply append an "e" to those vowels to be compatible with other languages, -so that "ae" means "ä", "oe" means "ö" and "ue" means "ü" .

I'm deeply sorry, Marco. Yesterday I was in a training course at work all day, so I did as fast as possible and not with copy and paste as I usually do. I know how annoying can it be when people write/pronounce your name in a different way. I also got mine many different way. My surname isn't common in Italian, and the "j" is used barely used in my language.

Trying to redeem my self I copied it in the real way with the "ä". Sorry once more.
