Hi Davide, we don't have any dev tools yet, and there will be plenty of work to do. We really hope AC will be final well before we can release our Gallardodavide zardin wrote:grandissima notizia ragazzi già era bella per netkar penso che rper ac sarà fantastica...

Today Matteo shows off his skills with 2 new shoots. He worked on the headlights today, and the result is ...well, I don't want to spoil the surprise.
You can also notice in the shoot below the great work on the screen wipers. Really great work, Matteo! Well done!
Check our Images Gallery to see the other picture. You're up for a treat

Back lights, Lamborghini logo on the back, front brake tilted in the right direction, rim/wheels size adjusted.
Matteo is doing a tremendous work to keep the model nice an neath. The external model is currently only 47k triangles with few more things to add.

Today it was all about measurements, re-sizing and tiny adjustments to make it 100% accurate with the real car.
Starting from real measurements and a reference real photo, Matteo brought his model to a perfect match (or at least as acccurate as he possible can) to the real counterpart.
Some small adjustments on the back end of the car, side mirrors slightly moved, wheels rim scaled correctly, and a completely remodeled set of brakes.

Giancarlo couldn't resist, so he made a small video as a tribute for the great work Matteo is doing.
Matteo, from his side, sent us one more stunning render of the latest version of the model

Surprises aren't finished for today. Matteo completed the modeling on the engine adding some more details, and the result is nothing less than sensational. Amazing work, Matteo. Simply fantastic.

Despite being very busy at work lately, Matteo still managed to have some progresses: door handles are now in place and brakes has been refined rounding them up.

After the great work on the car body, Matteo is starting working on the interior.
Despite the very limited time available lately, he managed to work on few parts already.
Here below you can see the initial work on steering wheel, cockpit and back mirror and a new render that is showing the current state of the art.

With open modding feature of the new AC I hope we could test Gallardo on the dirt. Lotus convinced me as it behaves like a car and this is not a sure think amongs sims:-) Rally or dirt racing is what I miss the most nowadays.

I assume with the lack of BP's for the interior that is almost all photo-matched? Very impressive if so, I always find lens distortions a problem with interiors (often they use wide angle lenses etc)...
As per the engine, yeah it looks right there, I think it's just the shading in the preview render making the shape look different.
All very impressive looking any way
Keep up the good work!
PS, do you mind asking the artist what technique he is currently using for photo-matching, and in what app?
I'm still unsure how you can get a good photo match when lenses distort because most viewport cameras in 3D apps can't un-distort, unless you un-distort your source imagery but then really you need to take the pictures to do that (ideally on a nice prime lens)
Hrmmmm

Matteo is back from a well deserved holiday, and he started to work on the 3d once more.
He fixed the car width (and consequently had to redo some work on the interiors as well) to perfectly match the real counterpart.
He also perfected the front/rear light and the brakes calipers.
He is roughly at 90% on the interior, just few details are left.
Some more work also on closing all the tiny holes here and there, as well as starting cleaning up a bit the project.
New side mirrors (once more ) and new windshield wipers.
This is a new render of the current model. Matteo said that he quickly set up this render just before going to bed. Hard to believe...but really looking forward for the next ones that he will produce in the next days showing some more details of his masterpiece
