    10 Nov 2011: Crema Cremas1

Welcome to the sixth event of the All Round Series:
We will be racing at Crema Sector 1 on the Formula Target

    Here is the schedule:

21:00 (CET) Briefing in our Chat
Qualification: 20 minutes. No restriction on the amount of laps
Warmup: 5 min (waiting time before the race session)
    Race 1: 12 laps
    Race 2: 30 laps

Full Mode will NOT be used.

Small note: on the calendar it was originally planned Crema Sector 2. Unfortunately, by mistake, last week I put a server with the Sector 1 configuration, and I've seen that you guys have already start practicing over there. For this reason we decided to change the schedule and using the Sector 1 instead of 2. Sorry for the mistake.

Looking forward to this one, the times seem really close, I was wondering why sector 1 was up and running instead of sector 2 Razz but both are good configurations.

and...yes you are in group A.

    here is the entry list

At the moment it seems to be that there are not enough people to run group B too. That's a shame. Let's, anyway, wait till the very last minute to take a decision.

If the race was an hour early I'd be apart of it, and probably on the B group Sad I'm so looking forward to compete... It's really painful that there isn't any race that I can actually play :'(

By the way, where can I see the standings?

    nice event !
    Replay download-link RSR crema sector1

-qualy: Very bad, much traffic and I was not relaxed enough especially, so I made mistakes in every lap. In practice I drove a dozent of 1:20.1 min. in
clean laps, but in qualy I screwed it.

-race1: ok, just a little accident with biggio as he spun at the chicane, so his car stood on the racing-line, but our cars got not too much damaged and we could drive on (though he made a mistake a lap afterwards and was out or s.th. like that).

-race2: very much sorry for messing up the start somewhere at the middle of the starting-grid: I stalled the engine after the first 2-3 meters (lifted the clutch a little bit too much too soon at the first acceleration-phase) and a few seconds later a car crashed into my slow, rolling car.. [but gladly noone had a disadvantage regarding the final result, Simon who -couldn't see me standing, because my car was covered by other cars- and crashed there into my standing car, won the race anyway Very Happy].
After that first frustration about my mistake at the start it was still a good race for me, beside one little 90° spin after the chicane when I chased Matt D.,
who got me before on the straight, I stayed clean on track without mistakes.

Nevertheless I thought my pace would be a bit more competitive here, because my setup was well prepared/tested, but many of you were really quick here.. -and also starting from the back because of my bad qualy + the mistake at the start of race2 did not help either to be directly in touch with the front.

Hmm, I noticed that my + some other guys "cutting" at the full speed t3 -driving over the green curb extension with 4 wheels- may not be correct, is
that right ? I did not "cut" there every lap, but as I saw others driving over there, I tried that also many times. Anyway it seemed not to be faster to drive over
that green extension there (not really an advantage), so in a race it does not matter at all, just a question.. .
Regarding the extension at the chicane it was allowed I think (?), since everyone drives over the green extension there.

this is what I usually post before every Crema race. I forgot this time, although it's nothing different from what our rules say.

At the chicane before the sector1-sector2 sign, there is no problem since the walls are there.
This has to be considered an exception of the general rule, since the wall will prevent anyway to cut too much.

We suggest anyway for your own and other contestants's safety not to be too aggressive, especially when cars are close to each other.

I looked for the rule section once again a few hours ago (although I know them of course), but there is just the new small rulebook I can find.
Is the 'old rule-section' deleted or is it anywhere else linked now ?
