Sixt and last race of the Radiator Springs 500 Abarth Series 2012.04: Donington Park

Here is the schedule:
Prequalification with live timing for all the week preceding the event
drivers from 1 to 15 in group A
drivers from 16 to 30 in group B

21:00 (CET, UTC+1) Briefing in our Chat
Qualification: 20 minutes. No restriction on the amount of laps
Warmup: 5 min (waiting time before the race session)
Race 1: 8 laps
Warmup: 5 min (waiting time before the race session)
Race 2: 16 laps

For the racing day, server will be with password. You will find the password in the control center.


Please make sure you have the latest version of the track.

Andrea, me and Vincent have a doubt: can you confirm that it is not allowed to pass through the white/black stake?



Another thing: I noticed that go with all four wheels on the grass out of the chicane gives an advantage. I think is also not valid.

Both your assumptions are right:
- you can't hit the pole
- you can't go with 4 wheels off track

Sry, bad race-starts for me (bad luck in the first few corners). In lap1 of race 2 I lost the rear at the entrance of the right-hander turn no.4(5) a bit on braking -can be difficult passage for the rear with every car when on the wrong line/position-angle of the car at first hitting brakes-, then the wall is also quite near there, so I ended there and quit (too much damage). I had a car beside of me on the inner side at the entrance, so I could not drive a more save line at the entrance and (+) I started with cold/new tires, that all together led to that sad end there. I was quite quick/competetive at Donington, so it's 'twice sad' .
In race 1 I crashed a bit with Matt (I guess) in lap 1 (just a bit straight into his rear), who was coming from beside the track, from the gras, while I focussed somehow much more on the other car beside of me at the end, because of thinking -at the beginning- that Matt's car would probably slide even more to the inner side of the track and not being on my line, but I evaluated that wrong, -so my mistake on that.

One word about this race for me : "disaster" and when I think, it was the same for the race before , I had not really the time to prepare the both last events, this car is not easy to understand for me and mainly, the level here is very very impressive

Congratulations to Gek for his championship victory and to Vincent and Giorgio for the second and third place , thank you all for your welcome in this championship, I hope we could soon race again with the highly anticipated AC

Really no need to be sorry! It was 1000000% my fault... I completely misjudged my re-entry to the track and you had nowhere to go.. So I'm sorry for causing the incident...

Yes really, at first I thought there was more time left (to react) and so also my fault, but as I watched the replay after my posting, I saw that my reactions weren't got too slow (because of too much practice before the race and so being tired possilbly). Just had almost no chance to do a thing there, because your car appeared from one to another moment just in front of me on that line, while I was beside Maarten, who overtook me the corner before. Just bad luck.
