Firstly I gotta say that it's really good of you to go to the effort!!!!!
The tutorial is gonna make me and a lot of others very happy. My first track attempt - Page 2 361709

So thanks Riccardo for doing this My first track attempt - Page 2 981548

It's probably best if you start from scratch for 2 reasons.
Firstly for the benefit of people who are not aware of Bob's track builder.
To show them what a great tool it is. And show them how to use it.

And secondly to show if there is any specific format that textures have to be in from the start,
and how to deal with things like merging roads so as there isn't one road surface under another,
and multi-material objects (both of which I believe netKar has problems with), in a format that netKar will accept
and won't cause problems down the line.

Was wondering if anyone has a licenced versioin of 3d route builder?
I have the free one and am a bit broke at the moment so can't buy the full version yet My first track attempt - Page 2 Icon_cry

I have a track mapped out that has more points than the free one will let me export,
So if someone has a copy i can send the file and you could smooth the height for me and send the file back in .KML format.

Anyone that has the tool and doesn't mind helping out, you can PM me My first track attempt - Page 2 Icon_biggrin

The guys that put this track together did a fantastic job. The level of detail is impressive to say the least!

He has a couple of moments alright but manages to recover My first track attempt - Page 2 Icon_lol

Very hard to keep concentration for such a long lap though!

i used to race the TT circuit alot (not in real life though My first track attempt - Page 2 Icon_smile) and you start to loose concentration sometimes
for the second part of the lap.
Each lap is about 17mins on the TT, but Targa Florio is Another 8 miles on top of that.

Plenty of Coffee and a good nights rest beforehand. And don't get too comfortable in your seat
or you'll start to get sleepy My first track attempt - Page 2 Icon_lol

My first track attempt - Page 2 Icon_arrow This was the circuit back in the day. It's an old film on the Targa. Really interesing to see.
