Could anybody say more about car handling and feeling, especially as regards Abarth 500? IMO current version is really good and I can't imagine any better

Cars have been all slightly improved, and in some cases heavily improved due to new data and new ideas Kunos had. I hope he will give more details later on. All cars feel much better, and we all know how good already was the starting point for physics and feeling.

I think you will not regret the long waiting once you will try the newer version.

BTW did anybody try new Iracing 2.0 physics and can share the impressions and comparison to nKP? I don't want to convert to Iracing, I'm just curious. I wonder how can be Iracing so more known than nKP. I hope after this new patch nKP will become the sim number one for most people.

One more question: Is it possible in new patch to map handbrake on analog axis or is it still only digital button?

Also,can we pls have a full detail guide or something with the new changes?
not like in netkarPRO page with ticks...i mean more details so we can first read the changes that have been made and then drive them.

For example,u say Andrea all cars have slithly improved,i wanna learn what improved has been made so i can understand it when i drive..

I dont have the new cars and i dont drive oval races so i will wait to put the NTM to other cars.I was expecting it aewsome like they were saying but im not reading good opinions about the NTM.Also one dedicated friend(not fanboy) he was disapointed with the NTM,he said he couldnt feel much things when he was driving the NTM(with fordGT and new prototype).

The handbrake I guess is still a digital button, but I haven't checked.

I don't like to do comparisons about different sims because I think is useless. In an rFactor forum you will find that rFactor is the best sim ever, in a iRacing that iRacing is the best, and so on.

At the end everyone has is pros and cons, and everyone can find the sim the fit best to his expectations.


About the detailed list, only Kunos could eventually write something about it, although I doubt he will ever go in full detail because is a task that would require a lot of time. Release notes haven't ever been the best part of nkpro I hope he will surprise us on that

In the long discussions with Stefano, he told me about many different ideas and fixes he did. At the end of the day, the most important thing is that, as soon as you put your self in front of the wheel you will feel the difference! He is constantly refining and improving formulas, procedures, and giving his magical touch here an there. You can't imagine the evolution we saw it was in the last month of testing. It's really nice to see how his words (ideas or experiments he want to try), in few days are transformed in real code, and huge improvements on the feeling of the car or other part of the software. It was really nice and educational and helped all of us to understand how much work and passion there is underneath a product like this. Well done Kunos!

iracing is known more because they spend more on advertising.

I see the list of servers some RC test, I hope that is developed and the final termimées the community is waiting with some impatience that is announced for the first week of September, (which is nearing completion ) will not continue as the version that was announced for Christmas and came............................!!!!!!!

many championship will start for the fall season in different league, everyone knows that it will reconsider a new version with all cars developed!!!!! It's a shame that the community is in standby

If some news on the date of this release could be known! They would be welcome!

I wonder how can be Iracing so more known than nKP.

It's not just a little update or some hype feature that we want, just a sim with a good/working netcode.

I know many players like me that have stop online because netcode is so frustrating...too many bugs kill the online experience and people goes away. Netkar has , for me and for many people the best handling and tyre modeling. But playing alone or stay forward others players give no fun.

For me if there are no players it's just because there is no fun to play online, not because people don't know this sims.

Don't be wrong, i like a lot this sim, but with rfactor2 that is comming (speculation) and other very nice sim like game stock car, it's one of the last chance for me for netkar.

I hope all this test / hard work give good results,...and if there is some adjustement that we don't need to wait six months to have some little correction.

I think that this sim need a two axis release process: bug fix and new feature. Sometime i think that some bugfix wait new feature to be released.

Video seems nice and i'm confidents/ready for 2011/2012 leagues

Not exactly true, I was surprised to find that one of the most popular threads in iRacing's Forums is about NKP...
and not for bashing it. Another popular one is about FVA.
