    Hi guys,
    It seems a lot of the fastest FTarget/Zandvoort drivers on the rank: http://www.wagenvoort.net/rank/track-records.php?trackid=101&carid=21

    are here.

    Do any of the top guys care to share setups and/or replays? Our fastest Aussie guy, Istvan, is 1.5 secs off the pace and we want to see how it's done Smile

    I do not use the autoclutch, and I have just 2 pedals...it require some attention when spinning to avoid the engine to be shouted down, but I think shifting is faster....Moreover when I brake I have to push a little bit on the accelerator (like 10-15%) to avoid the rear wheel to be locked...I cannot find a way to brake with Ftarget without doing this...

    About set-up, I have tires temperature too high after just 2 laps...I didn't find way to make them lower...If someone has some suggestion...

    I can do the same time more or less with both high and low wings load...finally my PB was done with 24/20

    Hope this can help!

    where it's better to shift up? the data says the power peak is at 5900rpm... but the engine's sounds tells different.. like 6500 rpm should be good.?

    Using the default AIM shift points, I shift just at the point that the LEDs blink.

    I think it is better to shift up at 6500/6700rpm, like Simon did on his video...changing at the point the LEDs blink I think is a bit early...

    a few years ago, helping with the graphs of torque and power, i had calculated the shifting "ideal" regime of all the cars in nkpro (at the time were only 4)... i don't have now the data to watch, but in general is not convenient change under the regime of maximum power, unless you have turned on the light of the reserve.. Very Happy

    those are the characteristic of the engine:
    208 bhp @6250 RPM
    265 Nm @5500 RPM
    with a limiter at 8000 RPM (so very high).
    torque and power goes down quite fast after their maximum, so isn't worth shifting after th 6300 RPM.

    AIM lights are correct are correct.
    {nk folder}\cars\Ftarget\setup\aim.ini
    Code:

    [AIM]
    RPM1=5900
    RPM2=6000
    RPM3=6100
    RPM4=6200
    RPM5=6300
    AL1=1
    AL2=2
    AL3=3
    AL4=4
    CHANNEL1=9
    CHANNEL2=1
    CHANNEL3=2
    CHANNEL4=17
    CHANNEL5=0
    ENABLED=1

    The problem is the sound. if you look at the
    {nk folder}\cars\Ftarget\sfx\engine.nke
    we have the onhigh sound that is used between 7000 and 10000 rpm, that's definitely too high.

    [SAMPLE_4]
    FILENAME=Ftrgt-onhigh.wav
    IN=7000
    OUT=10000

    I'm not sure if this is done on purpose or it's a mistake.

    Does anyone have time to do some experiments with the sound changing the IN and OUT for the samples?
    It should "feel" right to shift at 6300 RPM.
    I would try with the onhigh sample setting IN around 5800-6000 and have an even distribution with the lower revs samples.

    so could you please post the right engine data for all cars or is it written somewhere, like the manual or it´s unofficial information?
    maidirecamber´s blog has the same wrong info about the engines, at least for the F3.

    What car do we have? I thought Riccardo Azzoli said quite recently it was a F304 with a Opel Spiess engine.

    Diminuisci il valore di coast nel differenziale come primo tentativo....eventualmente diminuisci anche il preload del differenziale...

    Try to lower the values of coast and eventually preload on the differential settings...

    Hope this can help!
