    Pits are where you will be placed when you connect to the server.
    It's on the right of the main straight on the side of the track. No walls or pit entry nor pit speed limit!

    Just be really careful when you go out of the pits. Check on your mirrors and listen to the sound of the incoming cars.
    Once you are on track, go out of the racing line asap. Cars are at full throttle over there!

    btw, is Crema a real track?Crema is a city on the sount east of Milano (IT).

    no. All nK original tracks are fictional. Only names are from real cities, but there are no circuits over there.

    Servers are already UP for testing in FULL MODE. I double checked both server in advance this time, and everything seems to be ok!

    Since we had problem last time with people joining without authorization, I'm force to put the server password in the Control Center in GPCOS only.

    The appointment is on our forum chat before the race.
    We will be using the spreadsheet in the Driver Standing to help you to go in the correct server.

    In case people on Group A will not show up before 21:15 drivers from Group B will take their place based on the standings.
    Groups will be the same for both races.

    For the driver in ORANGE and RED on that spreadsheet, please make sure that your nKname in GPCOS is set correctly, and ask Jaap to merge your accounts through the website form.

    Quick question, what's the collision detection like with this beta version? Can one race very close to each other or not?

    I would say that it's much better than the v1.0.3, but it's difficult to define what is the limit! If I was you I would not do this experiment during an official race, but try this yourself in your preparation races! Tonight just join our servers (or ABM servers, that are on a similar machine, in the same location) a bit before. I'm sure you will find people to do some experiments.
    Consider even that you are racing from South Africa, so delays due to the distance between you and the server could give you, and others, some problems!

    Hi,

    It seems my connection speed is causing problems. During Race 2 on server 2 the F Gariboldi car appeared to slow down on the pit straight. I was not sure if it was going to pit and therefore went to the left hand side of the track. My inital thought was that I had missed any contact, but the replay shows that there was in fact contact.

    F Gariboldi - I sincerely apologise for this. It was not my intention to ruin your race.

    In light of this I think I should rather retire from this championship. 30 Sep 09: Crema - Page 2 Icon_cry

    gara1 dopo belle bagarre finisco sul podio alla mia prima gara 30 Sep 09: Crema - Page 2 Alien
    gara2 parto bene ma poi dopo il rifornimento benzina e cambio gomme vado nell'erba, mi fermo senza sbattere.Poi subito dopo arriva Delega il quale perde l'asfalto, anche lui e mi sbatte contro...
    potevo premere esc ma ero abbastanza vicino ai pit (3 curve) e tutto storto arrivo ai pit.
    alla fine il bello del FULL MODE ,secondo me, è proprio questo...se l'auto rimane accesa e "cammina" perche' no...anche scanzare qualche mal capitato che arriva arrancando ai box e' più impegnativo basta non essere nel mezzo ad una curva.
    (magari qualche bandierina in piu' per la segnalazione ci vorrebbe e secondo me la cosa piu' difficile si presenta in gara 2 (25giri)........a contarli tutti 30 Sep 09: Crema - Page 2 Drunken_smilie !!!!

    L'idea di mettere qualche bandiera in piu' c'era, ma per mancanza di tempo non ho creato un nuovo flags.ini.

    Prima o poi lo metto a posto, lo testiamo tutti insieme e facciamo un bell'addon per una pista bellissima!

    E' un peccato che non sia fatto direttamente dalla Kunos Simulazioni. Spero che prima o poi questa pista venga rilasciata con box adeguato, e non questo che ho arrangiato io tempo fa modificando qualche file!!
