Question regarding Ks2 FFB Empty Question regarding Ks2 FFB

Post by Vaggelis Sat Aug 18, 2012 7:07 pm

Hello guys, long time to see u,well summer Very Happy

I have some questions for some time regarding the ffb in last's version of nkpro about ks2.

In last version of netkar pro,i found that the ks2 doesnt give feedback as good as the other cars,im talking about 1 situation:
Lets say we have values from 1 to 10 for loosing grip,so with 1 we loose a little and with 10 we loose entirly the grip.
With all the cars in nkpro except ks2 i feel the progresion of loosing the grip like this:
    From 1 to 2,from 2 to 3,from 3 to 4 (perfect progresion)...
    With ks2 i feel: From 4 to 5,from 5 to 6 etc etc.
So when this happens(in slow corners with 2nd gear lets say) the moment i feel loosing grip,i loose the car.

Maybe this happens cause this car is fast, much power etc?
Well if thats true, even if its fast why i dont feel from 1 to 2,2 to 3 etc etc?
I dont have problem if the progresion goes fast but my problem is that i start feeling it from number 4 or 5...
Then again,i remember the FVA and there has perfect progresion!

Do u feel like that with the ks2 in slow corners? Before last version wasnt like that,i know it had more grip but it had progresion.

Anyway,my point of all that is cause i saw today the video with Formula Lotus from AC and started to think if this guy was comfortable in the exits of the turns etc etc..
He spins a bit in the chicane in nurbugring but i cant understand if he was comfortable.

I wanna ask Aris about this or the guy that drove but first i want to ask u guys if u feel like me.

Anyway ill meet u again online before AC comes,Hope everybody is fine, cheers Smile

Maybe you're a bit "too" sensible Wink, I can't feel such point of loosing grip in FFB in any car, did not even know about that that you can feel such thing via FFB, though I always configure it right with the FFB bar being dynamically enough and not at the top so easily. I feel bumps and force in corners, but feeling the grip I can hadly imagine through just the FFB. I feel much changes in the kind of force and way of force when the caster is changed (and then I have to reconfigure / higher the force in the logitech profiler, because the force is getting much less the lower the caster is set up) or even when just the differencial is changed, but no such moment when tires lose grip onto teh track.
