Downloaded and installed the latest updated RSR Live Timing App, but as I am hot lapping it is asking for me to update it, as it does not see it is the new version.
What am I doing wrong?
It was working fine before the update.

Have you installed the app in AC root folder? did it ask to override the previous files?

@no.75: Yes, this car seems to have ABS in real, so it's always 'on' in the sim. Switching on or off ABS makes no difference for this car.
-> So ABS aid could be showed as 'on' always or why not remove the aid display for this car on the page completely ?

The same could be done for the "auto blip/cut" aid in an opposite. This aid is always 'off'* at this car, so makes no difference if swichted on or off either.

But for me this all is not much important, since everybody, who drives the sim, knows what aids are always 'on' as a standard* at certain cars or not 'on'.., so those guys (we) can imagine what is going on. -It just maybe better to read for outside people when displaying those aid always at 'on' (ABS) and 'off' (auto blip/cut), to gather less confusion for people who don't know the sim and the standard characteristics(aids) of each car.

I deleted the old version and put the new version where the old version was.

the package needs to be installed in AC root folder.
it will create all folders needed.
is the package named RsrLiveTime_ACv0.9.9_002.rar?

can you please provide your logs as described in the guide?

Stupid question @ Thierry: Did you also uninstall AC TP v0.9.8 and installed the current v0.9.9 of AC TP before installing the new app version ?
The new version of the app may only accept the fitting AC version, which is v0.9.9 already.

Thank you Andrea and Mr Waechter, it is working now.
Mr Waechter gave me the good clue, I have not uninstalled the AC TP v0.9.8, but I am using AC TP v0.9.9, the mistake I made was trying to install the package rsrLiveTime_ACv0.9.9_002.rar in AC TP V0.9.8, of course nothing was happening.
As soon as I put in the current AC TP, everything worked the way it is supposed to.
Did not make me any faster, but now I have a better idea of who are the other drivers I might have fun racing with one day, as we have similar pace.

When I search for my name on the LivetimE standing page I get this error message.

this would be technically possible, but would require quite a lot of web space if we want to extend it to all. We might think about implementing this for the future, for the fastest guys. Eventually this can be done for setups as well.
Obviously this would happen only after you finish your session not to interfere with your performances while driving.

Thanks for the nice idea. We will check if this can be implemented and...when. We are doing this, together with other projects in our spare time between work and families...not always easy to find time for everything we want to do. Does anyone knows how to get other 20-30 hours more in a day?

Ho fatto qualche giro in practice mode e si sono registrati i tempi nel live timing... É normale?

RSR Live Time: new version v0.9.9_003 released

• fixed issue which, in some cases, prevented reading all driving aids correctly.
  
• fixed issue which, in some cases, allowed to record an invalid laptime in practice

All Lap times has been resetted due to the possibility to do an invalid lap recorded in practice mode.

Unfortunately we've been quite busy lately so we didn't have much time available to add more funtionalities to the website.
We still have a lot o nice features in our pipeline, we just need to have some free time to work on it.
