    Hi, the question is in the topic.
    For clarification: I have a pit-road and it is too long, but only one object. So how can I split this road to have the pit-limiter, only where I want it and not over the whole length of the pit-road?

    You can divide your object in a smaller piece selecting the faces you want, and pressing detach.
