disappearing object

Hi!
There's not much left until Machwerk -67 is finished for release.
One thing that remains to be in need of fixing is this problem I have:

To the left is a screenshot from an in game replay cam, to the right is KOF's view of the same cam.
There is a large grass object/plane that doesnt show in game, but is there in KOF. I've checked material properties several times.
Last thing I did was rename the object in max and letting KOF reapply default material properties. Still it becomes invisible in the game.
Any ideas?

I think might be related to sector names.
nk usually unhide the object with too far for your sector to avoid loading the full track all the time.
so for example if you are riding on sector 4, maybe sector 15 will not be loaded. I'm not 100% sure about it, but maybe you can check if your disappering object has a sector number very different for the one on the road.

That makes alot of sense actually. Thanks for brain storming with me, Andrea! I'm trying it right now, lets cross our fingers =)

It was a good idea, unfortunately it didnt make the object appear in game. Really wierd. I even tried cloning it and reapplying texture and renaming in max and still the same problem.

Now I noticed, changing the texture to something completely different just to more easily see it.. it seems it hides only a part of the large grass object.
Some are visible with that texture.
