no its easy, inside windows you must have a program to manage discs or create apartition on the hard drive, if its not on win xp then you can find one on the web

then you create a partition and assign some space something just for win7 and netkar so think something like 40gb to be sure or more

then you downlaod a win7 iso with cd key then install win7 in that new partition

Modifying active partitions.. Risky business. I know i wouldnt try it!

ho fatto un paio di prove anche io sotto xp
stasera se riesco metto su windows 7
sotto xp però ho notato che
quando si usa la vintage sembra essere + frequenti i crash rispetto all'osella o almeno arriva prima il crash.
ieri sera ho provato a smanettare con i profili dei driver e ho scoperto:
se c'è un profilo driver video(ati driver cat 10.9) associato all'eseguibile il crash avviene quasi all'istante.
Rimosso il profilo sono riuscito a stare online per 10/15 minuti poi crash (osella mugello radiators champ)
Settato il parametro grafica nel simulatore tutti i dettagli al minimo risoluzione nativa (1680x1050) non riuscivo nemmeno ad entrare sul server crash come mettevo in moto la vettura
Messo i dettagli al max sono risucito a girare per 15/20 munti e poi crash
non vorrei dire na caxxata ma può essere che il crash sia legato alle librerie grafiche dx9
può essere un caso ma qualcuno può provare.
questa ipotesi potrebbe essere confermata dai problemi minori che si hanno in windows 7 (dx10 nativo) ?

windows Seven pro X647 x 64 now has direct x 11, but for some application dll direct 9c are requested, these DLLs are not in directx 11, I personally installed the latest version of DirectX 9c which was installed without problem, and all C ++runtime X86 and X64 (2008 and 2010)

Io ho un MacBook Pro, gioco su una ripartizione minima su cui ho messo Xp, dovrei fare un macello per installare 7... che nemmeno voglio dato che la parte ripartita su Win la uso solo per giocare a Netkar Pro, FVA e RBR...

Tried the 1.3 beta in a few laps on suzuka, had some small bugs while beeing there with the Osella:
-one time the car moved like on a table in a 360° circle (left-direction) after I pressed 'ESC back to pits' when standing in the box..
-'FPS-display' was not being able to be turned off again, but it did function several times before.

But these errors only happened one time so far, so maybe they will not occur again.. (edit: tested now a long time at dry Magny Cours and it did not happen again).

-I have a massive loss in FPS when activating the rain, FPS in Suzuka drops from 240 FPS to 85 FPS for me with rain (ATI HD5770), so that graphic begins to struggle.. .

Marco Massarutto just announced that tomorrow there will be a fix for the online crashes, the most of us are experiencing.

Depends more on net speed. Updates and drivers can take forever on slow net -sadface-

grabbing driver from work at the moment ...
maybe Windows update will be a problem ...(first release of windows7 many update aviable @ the moment )

if you come form xp, first thing to do in windows7 is disable the uac user account center then install antivirs and drivers, and set auto updates to let me choose weather to download or install updates

Online issue seems to be fixed, for me anyways. Sounds are unbelievable.

One issue for me with the abarth in the 100 percent rain. After applying the brake and going from 6th gear to 3rd I don't hear the engine at all. I thought a couple of times I stalled the engine but that wasn't the case.

Has the fix been released?
