    Have all the problems of the collisions been solved? There are never failures?

    Will shades be dynamic?

    Collision seems a lot better, i hope little ghost bug or others big bang crash at start are gone.

    ffb is allready very nice, when i read that it was better in rc i can't wait to test it Wink

    Does replay are @30fps ?

    Has anything been done to resolve issues caused by players from distant planets countries lagging and jumping about?

    I know theres not much chance that anything can even be done, but it would be nice for our distant cousins to be able to kick my arse too. Rolling Eyes

    replays are still running in 30FPS since every release,
    I think you meant 60FPS or even more.. ?

    I think the framerate (30 FPS) is enough for replays, when you look your own car driving it + track look still smooth enough,
    of course the remote cars are not, because of lag and less position informations.

    Obviously the distance is always going to be a problem. But there are games out there that handle the lag a lot better than netkar. Toca 3 is actually pretty good with 'normal' levels of lag, even Australian racers usually dont have a problem. But then it completely falls apart once levels start to increase and you're left with the pingpong ball in a corridor effect Very Happy

    Generally speaking theres not much of a chance of this being improved without completely tearing the netcode down and starting again. Not a huge amount of point in that at this stage in netKars lifespan.

    I've raced with Aussies in nKPro & its been fine, I thought the time difference was the biggest issue. Brazilian servers... thats a different matter. It was on a Brazilian server I went around someone only to see my car carry on & hit them Very Happy, a very strange incident indeed.

    No sense in demanding something that affects a tiny percentage of users, for a game which has a limited lifespan.

    I think theres a difference between pessimistic and realistic.

    I think NetKar has a much higher lifespan than all of the commercial games.. , so it makes much sense to fix things.

    the life of NetKar depends largely, in my opinion, a development by its creator and publisher Kunos.
    Then, one day if it allows, as it will cease to develop the creation of Mod! everything is possible

    la durée de vie de NetKar depend essentiellement ,à mon avis ,a son développement par son créateur et éditeur Kunos .
    ensuite ,si un jour il autorise ,car il cessera de le développer la création de Mod!!!tout est envisageable

    Well, if 1.3 truely is the last big update for netKar as we know it, i'm sure Kunos is going to start working on the next version.

    If that is the case, then i would imagine the netcode (netKode? Razz ) would be completely started from scratch.

    Mods would be fantastic. Although i'm not too sure what you would want to mod..

    What i'd love to say is a trackday mod. Would be great to pick a track and allow users to join in whatever car they wanted.

    Netcode for watching video on page 32 of this topic, I think the problem was largely solved!!!!! it is essential that we expect from this update I think, for future and the mods, it is primarily a problem of use of license agreements for use with various manufacturers and advertisers, and that costs money! so do not dream too much!! RFactor but if successful, why not NetKar!
    Now that personally I very much look forward to is the change in the behavior of cars

    pour le Netcode en regardant la video sur la page 32 de ce topic, je pense que le problème a été resolu en grande partie !!!!!c'est l'essentiel que nous attendons de cette mise à jour je pense, pour l'avenir et les mods ,c'est avant tout un probleme d'utilisation des accords de license d'utilisation avec les constructeurs et les différents annonceurs, et cela coute de l'argent!!! donc il ne faut pas trop rever!!!! mais si RFactor a réussi, pourquoi pas NetKar!
    maintenant ce que personnellement j'attend avec beaucoup d'impatience c'est le changement dans le comportement des voitures

    One of the most interesting things i've seen in racing games is the advertising boards in DiRT 2. They update over time, so you get different 'current' adverts in-game (Couple of weeks ago was the new harry potter). Could be a bit of a money maker for Kunos.

    1.03 had mixed car racing, I dunno why this feature went. With the Formula Fords it would be cool, to have demo users in the F1600, who are at the back out the way Razz & have an incentive to buy a license (to catch the faster F1800's). In 1.03 you could also run add-on tracks under demo, so a mixed championship like this wouldn't work now.

    I hate in-game advertising. Wipeout on the PS3 for example gives you trailers during loading screens, it puts me off playing it. I couldn't give a to$$ about the latest Harry Pothead Fantasy Rip-off Very Happy

    Its so out of the way its almost subliminal. Theres no obvious advertising, but the ad boards and banners on railings etc change to keep up with the latest 'big thing'. Could limit it to only advertise computer hardware/peripherals, for example.

    Its a good way to raise money for development, without drawing it out of our pockets. Well, not directly anyway.

    So not like SRT Very Happy I dunno what the deal's with the current advertising in nKPro, if it was a give us a mention occasionally type thing Smile Also the TrackIR skin etc. (maybe they sent Kunos one years ago Razz). I'm not trying to poo poo your idea Martin but advertisers want exposure, so I imagine the nKPro audience would be too small.
