I really hoped this wouldnt come to netKar. I agree with Batina I think.
The one thing netKar have/had is highest quality of simulation in the car physics, this will not just open the door for crappy third party rfactor-style mode but also highly compromise the trust in cheat free competition.

The down hill kart seem like great fun, although I would rather be without it than have people out there that can open game files to change the cars engine power, grip levels and so on.

penso che a netkar se si apre la porta del mod per le auto sia soltanto una cosa positiva... certo che comunque deve essere da kunos autorizzata una cosa del genere .... il mod delle vetture potrebbe far aumentare l'interesse della gente e la creazione di molti più campionati senza contare la possibilità di avere la f1 su netkar pro...

bravo questo che ha creato una nuova vettura e un nuovo tipo di competizione, ma se non sono sicuro della legalità io non lo installo

allora se si può cambiare il corpo della macchina anche senza cambiare la fisica io penso che gia questo possa essere una specie di mod che possa ampliare le possibilità di gioco. ma quelllo che bisogna sapere è se al produttore del gioco il fatto di cambiare le pelli delle auto gli sta bene e se è legale una cosa del genere

As far as I understand, kegetys is also able to edit the physic. At which level is not know at the moment.

IF modding netKar will be possible/allowed, we have to hope that modders have perfect knowledge also of the physic part.
Ok, if you want you can do (for example) a GT3 Carrera Cup with his correct body and his correct sound using the Ftarget or F2000 basis, but that's really the last thing I want to see!
Let's also hope that it will be so difficult so that only very skilled and enthusiast modders will afford this task, so probably we can hope in quality work.

I'm starting to think that at the end a modding possibility could be not negative. We could always decide if a mod is worth to use or not. Just like in rFactor for example, but with a big difference: in netKar Pro we have already high quality content and so we can also forget about modding if we don't like.

Nevertheless I think we are still very far away from a real modding possibility in netKar

si ma alla fine questi mod pubblicati sul forum sono legali o non leciti??? perchè se si apre la strada del mod perchè non darci anche gli strumenti come per le piste(vedi track editor di kunos)???? sono convinto che se usi come base la target o la 2000 con un corpo di una ferrari gt o di una gt3 carrera attirerai quelli che amano le gare con quel tipo di auto.

poi mi piacerebbe sapere che ne pensa kunos di questo mod fatto per netkar perchè alla fine è lui che deve dire sì si può fare o no. però sulle piste aggiuntive non ha mai detto nulla quindi anche sulle macchine.

DAvide da profano ti dico che e un po differente ... Stefano da il trackeditor incluso nel gioco.....mentre per le car... penso sia differente..
io sono un betatester...e da quanto ho visto in campo... la difficolta di impostare fisica e tutto il resto sulla macchina e estrema...
in+ penso nn sia possibile manovrare la fisica esistente cosi facilmente...
quello che c e nei mod penso sia solo un adattamento delle fisiche gia esistenti nel gioco....

nn penso abbiano molto futuro in nkp ...i carmod..visto lestrema complessita della fisica di questo gioco..
PS ..e il mio personale parere...da profano nel campo di applicazioni e codici game/net
