Welcome to the seventh race of the KS2 Series 2011.05: Interlagos
Here is the schedule:
21:00 (GMT+1) Briefing in our Chat
Qualification: 20 minutes. No restriction on the amount of laps
Warmup: 5 min (waiting time before the race session)
Race 1: 47 laps

Full Mode will NOT be used.

To avoid some more problem we will not use Full Mode for this race.
You will be allowed to do whatever you want. In case of damage on your car you can press ESC, fix it and continue, even during the race.

We expect anyone to drive carefully anyway, avoiding problems.

For the new guy, here is a video, created by Simon Batina, to help you out in the registration and allocation to the race.
In this case it's shown how to join the default team Radiators-champ. You can obviously create your own team too.

The right amount of laps for the race is 47. I'll ask Giancarlo to modify the image too. Sorry for the mistake. Well spotted, Marco

ive decided to race tonight ive only had 1 hour practise though so i dont expect fireworks - hopefully being slower will give me some good battles with the mid-field

turns out my new internet doesnt like connecting to nkp servers. ill try and fix it before the race

what version of interlagos ...?
from download area there is only version 1.0;
but 1.1 hotfix exist (http://www.gamefront.com/files/17524536/Interlagos-fix-1.1.zip)
we need use fix 1.1?

the one in the downloads section is the full track with all the updates, it was just named wrong.

I cannot race tonight, as I'm having problem with my internet connection...it is a pity because this is one of my favourite track, but I cannot do nothing...technician will be to my home tomorrow morning to fix the problem, but it is too late...

My race was out of pace once the tires were used, driving a long distance with just 1 degree rear wing like I tried doesn't seem to work that good .
At the end of the race I was physically 'out of energy' -I had no meal today so far, just some bananas - by myself and did some laps slow like I would only ride my
bike around the track, so at lap 45 I lost even a save 9th position (to Biggio) in the mid sector, which was the main problem with my setup + used tires,
he hit me a little bit (but not a huge problem) and was through.

As we're always writing history with every single of our epic races and noone else posted a link so far, here finally is my replay file

mmm...not yet mario. 1 more race to go (A1 Ring race will be repeated because we had problems with he rain at that time), and still 32 points to be assigned. Any of the top 3 can still win the title.

oone of my best race ever...
i get in qualify fast lap stopping time at 1:14:9
lallo and o'brien are fastest so i decide to test race set up ...
I think to race against paul and lallo so I decide for 2 stop to get position over they in race ...but i'm unsure untill 10 second before green light
Race start no problem at first turn (gentleman driver !!!).
I gained 2 position... i'm 5th after one lap ...
paul flies away litteraly and he goes faster; Antonio was in back of me but pushed me untill 4th lap so i thinked to left position and make my race in his back, but mistake occurred and lost 10 second ...
behind me there were at 10 second Mr Dawson an Piers...great and fast drivers.
so i push it untill 20th lap and i make my pit ...
I was exit in 7th position behind dawson and Pier with 10 second...
i try to push untill their pit stop and i gained 22 second for my 2nd pit ....
all right, i'm 5th at the end of race ..
very very tired

P.s. next race will be 8 december..in italy will be holiday can postpone to 15 december ...?

I wasn't sure I would do the race - having done only a few laps before
the day (my practice time was hijacked by Imola). However half an hour
on track persuaded me I wouldn't be dangerous, although I did expect to
be horribly lapped.

Qualifying saw me improve my PB to 1:16.05, which was only good enough
for 11th but given my lack of track time probably the best place to be
(for everyone elses sake!). I made a cautious start just trying to keep
ahead of Jose Canseco who was being even more cautious than me.
Somewhere early on I think Biggio went off and M Waechter dropped back
behind Matt Dawson. MW was apparently running wings of 5/1. I was
catching him on the twisty bits and struggling to keep up on the
straights. I was happy to run close behind and try and put the pressure
on - which seemed to pay off on Lap 8 he went too deep into T1 and I
nipped up the inside - managing to just stay ahead into the twisties
where the better down force paid off. I could see I was very slowly
catching Matt Dawson and 5 laps later I was on his tail adopting the
same strategy - put the pressure on. We raced nose to tail up to lap 25
when he made a mistake, I think in T13 and I passed him and planned to
pit that lap. My lack of practice meant I had no idea where the speed
limited line was so I went very slowly up the long pit road, throwing
away my advantage. Matt passed me just as I pulled into my box and as I
exited he managed to just pull out ahead of me. Back to piling on the
pressure from behind. Somewhere Clive caught up with us and knowing he
was a lot faster I decided to let him pass and let him hassle Matt. That
didn't work so well as I kind of lost my rhythm, fell back a bit and
had to really work hard to catch up again with Matt. I was fairly
confident I could catch him and put a pass - he was often deep into T1
so I set about planning my move. It wasn't to be, on lap 45 I was
distracted and clipped the wall on on the start damaging my suspension
finishing 8th.

Sounds almost a bit dull - chasing someone for the best part of 40 laps
but it was a fantastic experience. Matt was well matched with my race
times and rock solid - with only one mistake. Matt - I salute you, you
deserved the place.

Ho avuto un pò di fortuna in questa gara, il contatto tra Clive e Maarten ha aiutato la mia classifica. Arrivavo alla gara con l'allenamento del solo pomeriggio con l'assetto alla meno peggio possibile, in qualifica và benino tutto sommato. La partenza è stata pulita, ma parto a gomme fredde e perdo 2 posizioni così ho dovuto battagliare prima con Biggio (che mi tampona tipo Senna con Schumi danneggiando leggermente la mia sospensione posteriore) e poi un pò più dura con Andrea che ci porta ad corretto e divertente duello! Da quì in avanti, essendo su una sosta come Juan e Paul che mi sono davanti, cerco di spingere per cercare di raggiungerli ma, complice un fuoripista da 4-5 secondi, praticamente i nostri tempi si equivalgono quindi mi accontento del 4 posto. Bella gara in una bella pista, la classifica mi sorride, con la nota negativa dell'assenza di Fabio, perciò per un punto Fusione Digitale si ritrova 2, bisognerà fare davvero il massimo nell'ultima gara per battere Paul e Clive. Infine ecco un esperimento, complice il progetto di Clive a cui mi ispiro, il video comparativo tra il mostro Gek e me: si nota quanto lui sia pulito ed io molto "irruento", sicuramente c'è molto da lavorare sullo stile di guida, davvero complimenti Fulvio! Ps ho dimenticato di editare l'audio
