OK. Netkar menus doesn't work with XP's compatibility modes. Btw does 1.3 work with any OS without compatibility mode?

illogical compatibility with XP Albert qu'Enrizo I think is right, it comes from NetKar exe, it will probably release a patch

laurent i just know that if you put the compatibility it dont crash anymore, as simple as that

For Vista users (all 2.4 of us). I tried XP SP2 compatibility mode with visual themes and desktop composition disabled, and everything SEEMED ok. Maarten was online, & he was trying the same thing, although he has Vista 64bit (and mines 32). Then he left, and I played on for quite a while, but then nKPro started crashing again. Now I'm trying server 2003 mode, and it seems ok, lets just hope it remains that way as there's lots of fun to be had:

lol nice battle we had marius quite nice to drift ang fight with it, and i must say the osella is a complete blast to drive, its a car to be very aggressive with it, as i like it!!! almost my favourite car now!

Yeah. You'd think 4 months after the KS2 was released, they would have worked on a fix for the collision detection (and reaction)

Nothing seems to work on XP.
And as you can't set the compatibility mode down to Win 2000, there's even less to try. Let's hope they will fix it.

problems with lag and multiplayer aren't problems you fix in a day.

As usual, before making a video I would check if some basic requirements are met:
- good server
- good clients connections
-...

Hopefully sooner or later kunos will have some better ideas to improve his multi.

Well seems to me that its something that appeared after 1.1 I dont remember having those problems before that but I could be wrong

Surely its better to have a properly working game than a game with some shiny cars that you cant really race online? I appreciate the work that has been done, but i think theres a slight priorities issue.

Server connection/ping doesnt make a difference if you hit, you still go flying.

Also, not a serious problem, but the Left mirror on the Vintage shows what you should see through the right mirror.

well certantly there was no lag it was all good

XD sure you cant fix it in one day but maybe 6 years are mor than enough XD
