Fourth official race of the KS2 Series: Istanbul

Here is the schedule:
21:00 (GTM+1) Briefing in our Chat
Qualification: 20 minutes. No restriction on the amount of laps
Warmup: 5 min (waiting time before the race session)
Race 1: 38 laps

Full Mode will NOT be used.

To avoid some more problem we will not use Full Mode for this race.
You will be allowed to do whatever you want. In case of damage on your car you can press ESC, fix it and continue, even during the race.

We expect anyone to drive carefully anyway, avoiding problems.

sono sicuroche la scelta di non fare gare in full modesia data dai problemi avuti nei server nelle ultime gare, la cosa mi dispiace, le regole sono comunque di aspettare 5 giri in caso di collisione che non ti permetta di tornare ai box? quindi seguire le regole del precedente campionato che non aveva il full mode? il tempo atmosferico si segue ancora oppure saranno tutte gare su asciutto? a me piacerebbe comunque avere gare sul bagnato

La scelta e' di continuare fino alla fine di questo campionato, col minimo dei rischi possibili. quindi niente full mode, niente bagnato.
non seguiremo le regole del campionato precedente perche' difficilmente controllabili. Come scritto su, si potra' fare assolutamente quello che si vuole. Premere esc e rimettere a posto la macchina e ripartire immediatamente.

Dispiace moltissimo anche a noi dover rinunciare al full mode e al meteo, ma visti tutti i problemi avuti, siamo costretti a continuare in questo modo, sperando almeno di porterci divertire un po' fino alla fine di questo campionato.
Speriamo che prima o poi arrivi una migliore release, e che tutto possa tornare alla normalita'.

Sono contento della rinuncia al full mode, ma senza regole così...non sò, almeno le qualifiche come erano lo scorso anno si potrebbero fare e solo in gara dati lag e cose varie dare libertà di rientro...secondo me...

capisco, ma secondo me continuare con le vecchie regole sarebbe meglio. non ci siamo trovati male con le vecchie regole e secondo me ci carica di autocontrollo quello che il ful mode ci toglie.
spero che ripenserete almeno sul fatto di mettere un regolamento...
senza un regolamento secondo me diventa come correre su un server qualunque, si va a perdere quello che è la competizione e la creazione di questo campionato.

yes I can, I don't have that many accidents there.

Don't forget to install the latest version of this track, released a couple of days back

i m sorry but i have force major, so i cant drive in istambul.. very pitty (spent a lot time testing, but....) (for now at least, maybe i will drive. i will try), but if not, see u in testing of barcelona i hope (cause if we will use a track wich will ask a license of GTR (GTR2) or else.. i will not drive

I wonder a bit about the alien's speed, -my speed got stuck while others got a little bit faster compared to the past season.., maybe my personal kind of setups are not the fastest way to go, though
I do already some minor improvements in it compared to my last season's setups.

nkpro ci mette del suo quando effettuo la sosta al 15 giro in 6a posizione con 25 secondi sul 7.
La mia sosta viene effettuata normalmente ma non viene registrato il giro esco fisicamente con chi avevo dietro 7° ma mi viene segnalata la posizione di 11(si può verificare dal replay di Waetcher)a quel punto un tripudio di bandiere blu per cui mi lascio sfilare da chi doveva essere il mio avversario!!!.
anche io ci ho mnesso del mio non aggiornando la pista all'ultima versione
cmq mi son diverito con la lotta a tre nei primi giri con zardin e graziano...
Andrea cosa è successo ti ho visto andare largo a curva 8!!!??

Andrea, questo è successo perchè non avevi istallato l'ultima release del circuito che risolveva questo bug (quando vai ai pit perdi un giro...).

About my race everything went right, I just excpected to be much and much in front in qualify...

Starting from 6th I went over some overtake and nice fighting with Marco and Clive (maybe Paul?) going up to 3th...From there I found my pace and I went qithout mistakes until the end of the race in 3th position. Many grats to Gek and Mika, they were around 1s faster on race pace, just incredible!!!

very interesting race for me indeed!

i qualified p2 which was about 0.3s off my PB. it was possible for me to get into the 1.29's but i couldnt find the pace that night.

i had a good start and managed to stay behind gek round t1. he started slowly pulling away from me at about 1.1s per lap i thought "how is that possible?". i thought he might have been on lighter fuel than me which would result him doing 2 pitstops. i was right - after 12 laps he was about 15 seconds ahead. i saw him in the pitstop while i still had 20l fuel left and came out about 5s ahead. i managed to increase that gap to 12.5s for the remainder of my stint.

as i knew he was on a 2 stop strategy, i could afford to back off and save the tyres. however on his 2nd pitstop i noticed he spent almost twice the time there - i knew he was putting in enough fuel to allow him to drive to the end of the race. he came out the pits just 1s in front of me. it was a straight battle for the remaining 15 laps, and of course he finished 2.4s in front of me.

a very well deserved win - i must say i enjoy racing you so much gek. the speed difference between us over a race event is so little, now i just need to improve my qual times eheh

Gara senza errori per me.
Qualifica ottima a 2 decimi dal mio pb e strategia su 1 pitstop. partenza regolare e passo gara piu veloce di mika per via del minore quantitativo di carburante. Al 13 giro ho fatto il mio pitstop e poi ho cercato un passo regolare. impegnativi alcuni sorpassi di doppiati per via del tracciato, gara vera fino alla fine con soli 2,5 secodni di differenza. come sempre ottimo lavoro mika. nessun problema di connessione. in queste condizioni nkpro è davvero meraviglioso. un bravo a fabio, e a tutti quanti
Error-free race for me.
Excellent qualification to 2 / 10 from my pb and strategy on a pitstop. smooth start and race pace faster than Mika due to the lower amount of fuel. On lap 13 I made my pitstop and then I tried a regular pace. challenging some of overtaking dubbed because of the track, real race to the end with only 2.5 secodni difference. as always great job mika. no connection problem. nkpro under these conditions is really wonderful. a bravo Fabio, and to all those

Which track version will we use for barcelona ? There is a new one v1.6 available since a few days.
